  1. We would love to do that again, as well, in Ranger Land.  Still bummed about the IHSAA "frozen enrollment," as we would have had a really good shot at being down to 1A.  Obviously, understand how/why this happened.  8 starters back on both sides of the ball, many with 2-3 years of varsity experience, 13 incoming seniors, just bad timing.  Oh well, we just hope to be competitive in the conference and keep the culture/expectations moving the direction, they are currently heading.

That's a good looking schedule. Nice to see them keep playing the big boys to make them better. I'm excited to see Allen continue to develop.

Will Heritage Hills bounce back and compete with GS in the big school division? Will Boonville be a factor? Does Mount Vernon and North Posey continue their improvement and compete for division titles?

What does Southridge return? They've been on a roll lately.

Can Tell City and Forest Park build on very good years?

Forest Park returns 7 starters on both sides of the ball. There is definitely some optimism of continuing to build on the last couple of years.  I do feel that if the Rangers could get down to 1A (right on the cut line as the numbers look now), they could definitely compete for that 1A sectional title!

  3. FP is Senior and Sophmore heavy, I believe 13 of each class on the roster, leaving about 6-7 Frosh and Juniors in each class, to make up their roster of between 40-42 players.

Should be ( I hope for our sake) a good game in Bicknell.  Also, looking forward to MD-Linton score. From the sound of things, North Knox will be if not the biggest, one of the top 3 biggest lines we will play against this year.  Good Luck to all teams still playing!

  4. Amazing how both the PAC thread and SIAC threads can quickly get derailed.

Best of luck to the Titans and Tigers tonight.

My biggest ? - with the running clock, will the beer in Fort Branch have proper amount of time to get cold?

    😀

Come on Oldtimeqb, the clocks runs after half every year, regardless of the new rule.  Brews have seemed to have stayed cold in previous years, so I wouldn't expect any big changes in that department this year.
