Pass along now so society can recovery from the disaster your non-scientific based era created. Why we are still asked to wear masks going on three years now. You guys believe more off of Facebook than you do coming out of the University of Harvard Medical School.

Making fun of my profile pic. That’s the best you got? Game, set, match.
Jealousy is unbecoming dude. Your candle doesn’t burn brighter attempting to blow out the flame of others….
Too stupid tp realize the difference between a profile pic and a banner pic? Go back to playing pickleball you geriatric hillbilly.
What am I jealous of? Your banner pic or your dead conference you still wish CG was a part of?
SMDH!

What adult human being with the word “dad” in his screen name (meaning he has children of his own) gets on a high school message board and attempts to take a dump on a group of 15 to 18 year old kids hours after their biggest win of the year and possibly their greatest athletic accomplishment of their lifetime?
Yeah, I said it.
Loser.
I will say it again, Boomer! Why don't you die already so this country can heal as it should. What happened to your red wave?

A lot of those were coverage sacks. Line can only seal for so long.
Thanks for trying to downplay, but offensive line play and play calling were atrocious at best last night for Peebles and OL coach.

CG by at least three touchdowns. This will be a snoozer, save your gas and stay in Ft Wayne.

Not elite huh?
4 straight 6A state finals. 6 of last 8 years.
BTW, Junior Trojan program shows great promise? Do you know how many IEFA state championships that program has won?
Congrats on a nice season!!
First off, you can stop paraphrasing what I said. I said CG is not apart of the Blue Blood programs in this state. A blue blood is a long standing elite program. I am sorry but 20 years is not long standing!
BTW, nice pixelated JPEG you have going on there. What are you, a boomer trying to stay relevant?

No hurt feelings. Just curious what your motivation was.
I apologize, I should have clarified prior. I was simply stating that I think CG is a tremendous program and they are on the precipitous of becoming a part of that class. However, once Coach Moore is gone, it's going to be interesting how the base follows through.

Just to reiterate. This topic was meant to draw attention to the overall culture at Center Grove.............all atheletes, all sports. Personally? I'd be surprised to see football players in there on a Saturday morning pumping iron. But I don't know since I'm not an expert on the topic. All I know is that their weight room was packed on a recent Saturday morning. If your competitors (all sports) are lifting weights on a Saturday morning, you may want to do the same.
You must know Coach Griffin

Schools like Center Grove desire to be called a "Blue Blood" program when they are not. You are not upon apart of the stature of IHSAA's lore with only one coaches success as with Eric Moore. CG is definitely in a position to gain that access, but without the longevity outside of one coaches reign, you cannot say you belong.
Their Junior Trojan program shows great promise, there is plenty of strong years to come from the CG program. However, program transcendence shows true prestige.

I remember years ago when Cathedral had scheduling problems when the other Indy Catholic schools would not play them, and they had problems finding local schools to play, and had to resort to playing more of a statewide and out of state schedule. Is that a problem today with Chatard and Brebeuf on the schedule?
Did Cathedral not renew the contrac/?
If I though that's how this was typed at least three times...

Sorry, not trying to presumptuous, but is there anywhere I can find what schools have won both football and basketball titles in the same season?

North Central (1-9) (1-6 MIC) - Stuck in no mans land in The MIC Departures of CG and CA will open up opps for a few more wins. Program is NOT where most expected when Kevin O'Shea took over 5 years ago.
What do they need?
This program has no identity. They need to develop one, and I would suggest they go with a high powered air attack. Find and develop a big strong QB and get him some talented receivers and develop them thru rigorous off season and 7 on 7 competition.
Avon (1-9) (1-6 HCC) - Everybody else in the HCC is getting better, while Avon is regressing. Horrible defensive play hes deep sixed the Orioles in the past several years. I dont remember Mark Bless teams being so bad defensively at Mooresville. Avon needs to put athletes on defense and create more roster balance, and do it fast as the conference continues to get better and this program could be a lower second division player if it doesn't get things fixed quickly.
Noblesville (2-8) (0-7 HCC) Despite lots of hype and monstrous offensive line, Noblesville failed to record a single conference win this season and the Millers are 5-25 over their past 30 games. That's not encouraging. Coach Dave Sharpe is 100% committed to his power ground game and feels it can win in the pass heavy HCC. Unless winless conference season could spell trouble for this staff in the future. With a relatively young roster coming of age next season, Sharpe needs a quantum leap forward to keep the believers from becoming non believers.
Plymouth (0-10) (0-7 NLC) That's just hard to fathom. Plymouth at 0-10. Sometimes things can go south, but never quite this far south. The Rockies are short on numbers, size, talent, physicality and hope. Athletics overall are changing at the school as girls sports and soccer have risen to the forefront, very similar to other affluent former football powers like Penn and Lake Central. Warsaw, Concord and Mishawaka are on a completely different level, and Northridge somehow snuck into the 4A state championship game. Not sure if John Barron will stick this out much longer as there appears to be very little upside for the Rockies on the horizon.
It is really sad what has happened at North Central honestly. When O'Shea came into the program he spoke of using Eric Moore's model and building the program from the ground up. That never happened. They no longer even have a youth football league, yes, the world famous WTFL is no longer in existence. No longer a Jr Panthers team, who had won an IEFA State Championship in 2014. I personally believe that O'Shea rode the back of those two classes and just thought that majesty would happen. No youth program, no future! No wonder why CG and Carmel bailed on the MIC Conference.
With the retirement of jerry Baumgartner from the JR Panther Program and the still horrific loss of Paul Loggan, I am not sure that North Central will have football within the next five seasons.

I'd just like to see it go to the best player. Call me crazy.
Looking at the history of the award, it almost seems like a death sentence. I wouldn't want it if I were you, unless you want to end up selling at Dewig Meats in Haubstadt? Lord knows how they treat out of towners down there. #97

I would be shocked if they went back to back at the same school. They are trying to level the playing field in the State and I would be very surprised if Allen did not win this award. You have to keep the ENTIRE state relevant. Kiser three years ago and before that you had Jaylon Smith. I don't consider Columbus to be out of the Indy metro area, sorry Markell Jones.

Russ Yeast should have won in 2016 but the voters went with the QB instead.
McCahill was slighted because he only had one year body of work. Same applied to Russ Yeast obviously.

Are you suggesting busing tables at Waffle House isn't a viable income? Such a noble admittance from a Boomer Republican. You know, the I-70 split is rather up and coming honestly, but who would expect some Boomer like you to understand such social constructs. I mean you living in Columbus with your communities fentanyl and meth issues and all.
