1st game, well they have won 30 in a row and unless BG picked up some studs from Roncalli to help out they might be overmatched in this one. Gonna go
Lutheran
This next game could be a toss up, Speedway loses some studs from last years team, can they reload. Covenant looked a bit shaky vs Ritter in a scrimmage though.
Speedway in a close one
I have to give it to the Scecina coaching staff, they always have a very disciplined team and are very effective.
Scecina Memorial
I dont like saying anything about the team I coach for, but I will never pick against us. I choose US every single time and always will.
Monrovia
Triton Central has the QB, do they have the WR's to catch, I am sure they do, but they will have to make the most out of the opportunites against the rushing attack of Cascade.

i am going to try out iTouchdown for this season, with a look at moving to TurboStats for next season. Needing something now and only 5 bucks being the reason for using iTouchdown now.
-
i have moved over to iTouchdown full version. i am hoping it will do what i need it to on Friday Nights

Ones that I know of for sure.
Ryan Knigga Lawrenceburg
Nick Hart Gibson Southern

not sure, if its correct or not, but even John Harrell has the position blank.

anyone know who Clinton Central hired as a new head coach?

There is always a team that brings back alot of kids that might not have done exactly what they thought they were gonna do the year before, but when season comes around, they are right in the mix, unexpectedly. There will be the norms around though.
Without being in each teams summer workouts, and knowing whats coming back it really is hard to tell.
I can tell you, we play in a VERY TOUGH Conference. All of the teams are GOOD. 2-7 Regular Season, moved to our 1st Sectional and Regionals Championships in 3A. Will we be better this season?? We bring alot back. But nothing is gauranteed in our conference. We wont be overlooking anyone on our schedule.

i sent an email seeing if we knew what brackets teams were in, so i guess we shall see, or just show up tomorrow morning and see. Either way.

Which I still puzzled as to why that didn't happen, unless there was some kind of conference bylaw to prevent it.
the only explanation that was given was that all schools were transparent in thier intentions, and a vote out would have been something done backhanded???? maybe

Thanks for the news. So that this yet unnamed conference appears to have reached the magical 6 members, what will it be called? Sure wish these 5 schools hadn't abandoned the Sagamore moniker to the likes of the other 3 three, something that has yet to be explained.
I would say the explanation was that they left the conference so the remaining 3 retain the conference name. Had the 5 voted out the other 3 then a conference name could have stayed with the 5. Only explanation that makes sense to me.

WCGrad92, you likely know the WIC far better than I do, what are they likely to do should NP, and later SP and Greencastle, make that move? I'm not sure how many teams are in the WIC, so are they likely to look to add someone? Stay pat?
They have plenty of members to stay pat if they like for sure. cant remember what happened before, but maybe they go back for South Vermillion again???

just my Personal Opinion. you never know in this world what may happen, just seems to make the most sense to me if Im being honest. With the size of those teams, the Putnam County school make the most sense.

I believe that North Putnam will be the 6th team for now, with plans on bringing in Greencastle and South Putnam along in the future.

Hunter Johnson trying out with Colts? UFA?

And why did those four BD coaches leave?
Dick Dullaghan (retirement)
Tom Allen (Wabash assistant coaching opportunity)
Mike Kirschner (stated reason was burnout...but was then pursued by Mt. Vernon)
Jason Simmons (Likely college assistant coaching job at MAC program that's his alma mater)
Warren's coaches
Shelbourne ??
Wright (Left for Jenks Oklahoma)
Tutsie (Had a vision after reading Tony Dungy's book...and a losing season)
Hart (Unceremoniously left seemingly unamicably)
Tutsie (Awful year)
West (Move to Franklin Central to be closer to home)
Kirschner...
Shelbourne left for Avon I believe.
