  1. WWfan I agree the Salem vs. WW game is a toss up.  I feel like Perry and Paoli both did a great job limiting our QB's ability to create plays and we didn't have anyone else take over offensively.  I believe Roberts will be a key component in this game and who can control the line of scrimmage.  If you look at both games WW lost, the line lost the battle up front on both sides of the ball.  Our line in the first 4 games did a great job up front and WW will need that kind of play for them to win.  Salem has some tools offensively that can be effective, but they have had a lot of injuries as of late.  Should be a good one in the Burg.

  2. SenatorFan where is the faith?  I think we have the team to pull off a big W at Valley.  We have a lot of weapons offensively, and the staff has been mixing those up, which makes us a hard read for the defense.  Im sure Valley is good, but we had no problem with Clarksville, and they battled toe to toe with Charlestown, which on film is the best team I have seen in the area!!  Just saying I like our team and the way we are playing.  Should be a dogfight!  Oh by the way, I plan on taking first place before this is over.  Lol

I believe I had 6 correct, not that it matters, but please check my math.  Booneville, WW, Valley, PC, Brownstown, and NH?

  4. Boonville at Paoli-  BOONVILLE

Eastern Pekin at West Washington-  WW

    Edgewood at Mitchell-  MITCHELL

Springs Valley at Eastern Greene-  SPRINGS VALLEY

Switzerland County at Crawford County-  CC

Tell City at Perry Central-  PC

    Brownstown at Corydon-  BROWNSTOWN

North Harrison at Salem-  NORTH HARRISON

    Scottsburg at Clarksville- SCOTTSBURG

Silver Creek at Charlestown-  SILVER CREEK

  5. This is a real sore subject for me.  My son lost a whole year of sports because of it.  We didn't transfer for football reasons or playing time, and didn't move from our home.  We moved to a 1a school and due to Covid and low numbers, never even got a JV game in that he was able to play in, thus missing his entire sophomore year.  The only one hurt in these situations is the child.  I wish they would fix it, and make the schools who block it sit out an entire season!!

  6. MSC is always tough.  History says Btown is the favorite till someone knocks them off their throne!!  I know they are young, but May has them ready every season.  Creek has athletes, so I believe it is a 2 horse race.  A slew of even teams and question marks from there.  Corydon has skill kids that are very good, probably some of the best in the conference, question mark will be up front across the line.  Charlestown is always a threat, Hawkins is a good coach and seems to find the W's as the season progresses.  NH can compete with that offense, can the D find enough stops.  Salem lost a bunch of seniors, but has some potential players, can they get past the middle of the pack?  Scottsburg could be the surprise team in the MSC in my opinion.  They have improved year after year with coach Mullins, will this season be their breakout year?  Eastern is another one that is hard to call, big upfront, numbers could be an issue however.  We shall see as pre season heats up in the next couple weeks.  Should help everyone get a feel as to where they are.  So looking forward to it.

  7. Dang WW Fan, no love for the Senators? LOL.  I believe they might surprise some people.  We shall see.  If I was ranking the conference right now, I see it as this:

    1.  Perry

    2.  Paoli

    3.  Valley

    4.  WW

    5.  Mitchell

    6.  CC

It is so hard to predict in the off season, especially after last season and no JV games to speak of, so it is hard to say how much your young players are going to be able to impact your teams.  I do believe WW has a good crop of young players that can impact their season, it is just going to come down on how much they have improved during the off season.  Good luck to all the PLAC teams.

  9. Valley is for real.  Wasn't sure until I seen them play last night but they have some kids that can play.  Hats off to them and the staff.  WW is young, inexperienced up front, and is gonna take time to figure out.  Doesn't help when you were off for 2 weeks and just enough practice to play on Friday.  Just have to keep working and get better.  Paoli up next for WW.  Looks like PC is gaining steam.  MSC shaping up to be a battle between Btown and SC.  How about Scottsburg at 4-0.
