Monday-Friday Games?

How can the schools that played Monday (due to the hurricane remnants) play again on Friday? For several years, teams weren’t allowed to play again until Saturday, per IHSAA rules. Was there a change?

Assuming it is all good because from my memory, it's about the quarter rule.   Quarter rules start Friday to Thursday.  So if games have not been played on Friday or Saturday, then Monday it is.  Gives 3 days off before next contest and believe to be ok under these unforeseeable issues weather wise

Looked it up—in ‘07 the IHSAA Board voted 14-0 to allow a reschedule (due to bad weather) Monday game if both schools don’t play again until Saturday. Vote was prompted by several schools losing games the previous season by not being allowed to play on Monday.

Looks like somewhere along the line, it’s quietly fallen back to Commissioner discretion.
