Coffin K9 Posted October 9, 2024 Posted October 9, 2024 Ok, I guess I'll start this show. First and foremost, we were able to get The Beagle bailed out early on Saturday. The judge made a special exception as The Beagle had to report for 💩 duty. I guess they are getting way too much fiber over there in Naptown. On to business... The mighty rEd and blaCk have their way with Lil Ralphie and his band of Pirates, and the game is over by the end of the 1st quarter. Lil Trogans by halftime, and the boys will be enjoying a cold one at Skyline well before last call. Stink and the crew party hard in Whiskey City on Friday night, and even extend an invite to Connie's for the Methtucky faithful. Again, a running clock and the girl's at Connie's go straight from happy hour to private lap dances before the sun goes all the way down.  In what might be the runner up to the game of the week, the Flatbill Timberlakes seal the deal on Boom and his Mardi Gras Invaders. What does the future hold in Ratville? Fire up the horse and buggy, cuz the little conference title is coming home. 🤯 And in the game of the week...Casket Nation travels to Chicken and JoJo's on Senior Night!!!! I want to be clever. I want to be confident. But these two teams have me puzzled. This one will be a battle of "Golden Dome and The Genius That Is" vs "Dr Quinn and The Medicine Man". Who's hot, and who's not? Who can sling it the furthest, and who can't find their mark? Will either defense hold up to the firepower that will be on display? Will the "Ball Hawk" be Hawkin or Shoulder Squawkin? So many unknowns in this game, but I gotta go with the Dogs. At the end of the day, the Dogs just have too many weapons, and will not be stopped. Golden Dome goes off droppin dimes, and that Dog's defense steps up to tame the Cats early in the game. Me and the Beagle are gonna hit the cottage for the first time in his life, and then take a nice leisurely drive through the backroads of Franklin County throwing check bones at road signs! https://youtu.be/7sfo827UxwI?si=oaomtUtfDofi5ZiR Quote
turf tripper Posted October 10, 2024 Posted October 10, 2024 Here we go again, eiac with some more blowouts. Ec obviously hammers the pirates, maybe russ radkte can come back and show them Spartans how to run the wishbone- but it wouldn't matter, they still get beat by 50 to the tigers. I wanted to see a game last week and went to fc, well it wasn't ever a game. I'll say SD gets hammered again this week by the lions. Ok I'll try it again, more chicken before the game and a chocolate shake after the game. Bulldogs sling it around, but so do the cats, who will step it up a notch? I'll go with the cats in a close one. Sanes creek, upper jim run, smokey hollow, duck creek, all great backroads in franklin county!! Quote
812 Observer Posted October 10, 2024 Posted October 10, 2024 Week 8 in the EIAC, feels just like yesterday summer scrimmages were wrapping up! Sectional draw this Sunday, lets roll!  East Central vs Greensburg: Not much to say with this game. I will say kudos to the Greensburg kids for not giving up on the season. They gave Batesville a decent first half last week. The Trojans will be prepping already for Roncalli who might hand them their 3rd loss of the season?? I'm jumping ahead of myself.... EC by 60  Connersville vs Lawrenceburg: Again, some ole tune not much to say. Good thing for Connersville only one team in their Sectional has a winning record! The tigers roll on and will improve to 7-1 before the river people battle it out!  Tigers by 50  Rushville vs South Dearborn: Looks like the Lions could and should finish their season 6-3. Very impressive considering his last 3 seasons combined for 5 wins. Good to see more quality teams in the EIAC!  Lions by 24  Batesville vs. Franklin County: Game of the week for the EIAC. Jojos are improving and looking good heading into sectional time. They seem to have probably the best passing game in the conference. Will the jojos defense be able to slow down 12 and company? I hear he's still getting reps on the defensive side of the ball. We'll see if he can help get a pass rush and slow down the greasy chickens aerial attack. Both these teams will probably face each other come playoff time if they want to be playing in November. I think this game could come down to who has the ball last! I'll take the Cats 28-27! Also, everyone knows the best chicken in FC is at the Pioneer, make sure to order ya some gizzards K9 and Beagle! Trojan Man Posted October 10, 2024 Posted October 10, 2024 Another boring week in the EIAC. Stinktown continues on their win streak over Connertucky. 49-7 Flatbill is having a platinum year, and the Taco Truck seems to be sputtering. Good to see Rushville being competitive. They continue this week over Boomtown. 35-14 Casket Nation travels to Chicken and JoJo's, but K9 and The Beagle won't get much more than a bucket of chicken. Both teams can sling it, but the Dogs D gave up 16 to Lil Ralphie in the first half. JoJo's win a big one against the "Dream Team". 42-34 EC's Freshmen get lots of time this Friday in a running clock victory. The Pirates do appear to be improving, but it will be too little too late. Hondaburg has to make a change at the end of the season. Trojans 42-0 Quote
Hounddog Posted October 10, 2024 Posted October 10, 2024 Stinktown over Connorsville  50-0 Rushville over South Dearborn 28-14 EC over Pirates 50-0 My home county team JoJo's over bulldogs 35-21 Quote

Points allowed, none the less, but it will get fixed. Stopping the run won't be a problem this week. It will be a gun show!!! I have faith that the defense will make plays when needed, and the Bulldogs will prevail. Where's Triple C and The Beagle? Quote
Hounddog Posted October 10, 2024 Posted October 10, 2024 Cowboys wrangle cattle and Beagles sleep on the porch. Quote
CountryClubCowboy3 Posted October 11, 2024 Posted October 11, 2024 YEE. YEE.. YEE... of little faith! Them Dawgs will be ready come 7 O clock this night. For the Whitewater chickens, the lights will be too bright. Golden Dome and company are bout to give their best. And put these aerial chickens to the ultimate test. Dem Dawgs will be ready, that's what Triple said. Time to put these talks of Jojo land delight, where they belong, back to bed. Dawgs 35 - Brooklaurelville 21 Skate Parks FOREVER! Canoefest NEVER!  Quote

Coffin K9 Posted October 11, 2024 Author Posted October 11, 2024 Triple C is back in the saddle!!! There's Beagle, however is still MIA. But, there's a good reason for that. Everybody who's anybody knows that The Beagle hosts his big turtle slayin soup fest tomorrow, and it's gonna be one for the ages! Rumor has it that he has rented the inflatable helmet to house this year's Turtle Fest. Triple C is gonna be giving free pony rides. Big Daddy is going to put on a dance competition, and THE Z-Dog will be the honorary DJ. Free bottle of honey, autographed by The Beagle to the first hundred guests. You won't want to miss this one Grid fans. Just remember to take it easy on the Rumple Minze! Souptober has been known to make a few Dogs crash and burn!! Quote
turf tripper Posted October 12, 2024 Posted October 12, 2024 17 to 14, cats up on batesville at the half. Quote
turf tripper Posted October 12, 2024 Posted October 12, 2024 Wildcats with a solid win over bulldogs!!! 31 t0 17. Quote
812 Observer Posted October 12, 2024 Posted October 12, 2024 Congrats to FC on the nice win. They had to beat Batesville and the refs! Triple C and K9 will need some Bulldog BL’s with their chicken & jojos to drown their sorrows… Quote
