Uniwatching the State Finals

1A

North Judson will be the home team in the opener at Lucas Oil. Last week they went gold helmets over blue jerseys and the gold pants. A great combo no doubt, if not a little Tulsa-ish. I'd assume they go with the same combo again, but they could always go gold/blue/blue or gold/gold/gold.

They will be playing the Providence Pioneers, who lucky for me seemingly only have one set of away unis. A nice all white kit.

2A:

Leading off day one of state title weekend will be the Linton-Stockton Miners. Last week they wore their red/white/red away uniforms. This week I'd assume their wear all red from head to toe with blue and white stripes. I like the uni a lot.

On the other sideline will be the Flying Jets of Adams Central. Last week they went red/white/anthracite, and I suspect they'll run back the same combo.

3A

The home team in class 3A are the Bishop Luers Knights, and I believe they will be dressed in their all black uniforms, although they could throw in a red jersey or red pants.

Facing the Knights will be the Patriots of Heritage Hills. I believe HH is gonna roll with a navy/white/navy combo, not sure they've worn anything else on the road this year. I LOVE that everyone wears the red socks.

HH might wear red pants they switch it up occasionly but not sure, I like that look the best, also the combo they wore when they won in 2000

I love that blue/white/red. Would be nice for contrast if Luers goes all black.

No worries, I really like to see the different uniforms. Linton also has a blue alternate that they only wear on senior night every year. Still really enjoy the red more!

4A

The East Noble Knights roll into Lucas Oil and they will wear royal blue/royal/royal. Their athletic gold face mask is a nice splash of color, but I wish they had a pair of athletic gold pants to pair with this set.

The "visiting" New Palestine Dragons have a couple different options. They are likely to go white/white/white, but always have white/white/red in the locker.

5A

The Warsaw Tigers will be the designated home team on Saturday night. They went all black last week but I really hope they wear those orange pants this week. Would help to have some color in the game.

The Decatur Central Hawks wore the opposite combo of Warsaw last week, going white/white/white with unreadable pale gold numbers. A yin/yang feel to the 5A game.

6A

Westfield are the home team in the mega school matchup. Last week the Rocks wore gold/green/green, and it was a welcome sight over the gold/black/green. I hope they run it back but I wouldn't be surprised if we see the black uniforms.

Brownsburg will be iced out once again. White/white/white for the Bulldogs. Might go black pants but I doubt it.
