Coach Nowlin Posted January 28 Author Posted January 28 Rico: Ron Rivera Tennessee: I have spoken about the a bunch about what works in the NFL and what doesn't. VERTICAL ALINGMENT: Bears FINALLY got on the ball with Phillps gone, McCaskey out of it, and letting football people make football decisions Vertically down: Kevin Warren to Ryan Poles to Ben Johnson Now look at this: I used AI bc it can spell it out way better than my meathead brain The Tennessee Titans are considered to have dysfunctional ownership due to intense, meddlesome involvement from controlling owner Amy Adams Strunk, which has resulted in constant coaching and front-office turnover, including firing head coaches Mike Vrabel and Brian Callahan. Critics describe the organization as a "revolving door" that lacks a consistent, long-term vision, often characterized by impulsive, top-down decisions on football matters. Key Reasons for Dysfunction: Meddling and Instability: Owner Amy Adams Strunk is criticized for interfering in daily operations and making in-season coaching decisions, such as allegedly forcing the stripping of play-calling duties from coach Brian Callahan. High Turnover Rate: The team has seen a rapid turnover of both general managers and head coaches, with multiple personnel changes in just three years, disrupting any potential for building a stable culture. "Top-Down" Decision Making: Decisions often seem to come from ownership or executive leadership rather than football-specific staff, leading to a "chaotic" and "disconnected" environment. Poor Executive Structure: Frequent restructuring of the front office—such as changing the reporting structure of GMs and presidents—creates confusion and a lack of accountability, reported in The New York Times and The Tennessean. The organization has been described as a "mess" and a "laughing stock" by critics,,according to this YouTube video, and Heavy Sports. 1 Quote

Coach Nowlin Posted January 29 Author Posted January 29 HE was Bombers Homecoming guest we used to do that back in my playing days, he came in my JR year, spoke to the team at the parade and I was brought into the coaches office by Meeks to meet him and do an interview since I originally thought I was going to pursue sports journalism, so was editor of the school newspaper and yearbook guy (truth be told, sophomore year I new the class existed, it was a double block and all the hot girls in grades above me were in. it and then found we could leave to sell ADs in town for yearbook, so yup, took my shot, failed, but hey got a nice double blocks rest of my HS days). Anyways, interviewing him and he made a statement about how when he played he wanted to rip everyone head off, and we did, he made sure he was the guy to help the guy up, just so he kept seeing the same guy over and over hammering him. Said wasn't disrespectful, just a settle reminder he was coming again next play, then Meeks sets me up immediately and tells him that I got a 15 yard penalty the previous week, which led to Coach Rivera chewing me out... and Meeks giggling 1 Quote
