2^nd Annual INDY PUSH - PULL ‘23

Bench Press and Deadlift Contest

Sponsored by GWHS STRENGTH AND CONDITIONING

Sat. Feb. 25 at 10am

George Washington HS, East Gym (W. Washington St., enter door 2)

Current Juniors, Sophomores and Freshmen

$20 per Contestant – fee includes INDY Push- Pull T-Shirt (Adidas long sleeve)

 

Competition

Bench Press - as many reps as possible at player chosen weight. ** 2 Attempts

Deadlift (Hex-bar or Olympic bar) – as many reps as possible at player chosen weight. ** 2 Attempts

Competition Groups – 1 OL, 2 DL, 3 QB &WR, 4 DB & K-P, 5 LB, 6 RB & TE

** Rep Test (capped at 12 Reps with a projected MAX for Safety) Goal is 3-8 Reps - Max sheet attached

                *Visiting coaches may be asked to spot and judge (count reps).

We will score the top 10 (max 2 per team) per position group for points, but you can enter unlimited kids. 

                              

Awards

Team Trophy for PUSH - PULL Team Champions

Medals for top 2 per position, and pound for pound categories.

Entries be submitted electronically by Friday, Feb 17. Payment will be accepted at the competition, cash, electronic or check, please make checks out to GHWS ATHLETICS.

Please use the attached google form. Athletes must have a current IHSAA physical, on file at their respective schools, and a parent/guardian signed waiver.

Athletes will weigh in upon arrival starting at 8:30 and warm-ups will begin.
