    Notes

    -This will be the first time ever Jennings County and Edgewood have played.

    -This will be the fourth meeting ever between BNL and Evansville Harrison. Ironically, every game has been in the first round of sectionals. Harrison won at home in 1990, BNL won at home in 1991, and Harrison won at home in 1993. The road team has always lost so hopefully BNL bucks that trend.

    And how the hell did a 3-6, undisciplined Fort Wayne North Side team get votes?

    Also, Batesville should be ranked ahead of Lawrenceburg because Batesville won the head to head matchup and has a better record than Lawrenceburg.

    I have Brownsburg at 3 behind Ben Davis and Center Grove because history tells me that I can't trust Brownsburg to get the job done in the tournament.

    Notes:

    -Floyd Central remains #8 in the media poll but moved a spot to #9 in the coaches poll.

    -Bloomington South is #3 in both polls.

    -A BNL win and a Floyd Central loss would result in a shared HHC championship and would make BNL back-to-back champions for the first time since the 1980 and 1981 seasons.

    -Jennings County and Jeffersonville are playing in a last place game. Jeffersonville finished in last place last year while Jennings County finished in last place in 2018, 2019 (with Madison), 2020, and 2021. You have to go back to 2015 to find a year in which a team aside from Madison finished below both Jennings County and Jeffersonville.
