Gotta go with Eastbrook, have extended family there.  Hope it's a good one with no injuries.

Eastbrook like to keep it on the ground, right?

Yes, they primarily run the ball, but they have had quite a bit more success throwing the ball this season.  #16 is one of the better QB’s to come through here.  I would say other than the offensive alignment before the play starts, Eastbrook and Tipton are about the same, as far as run to pass ratio.

I have no reason to dislike Eastbrook other than the way they represent themselves so if you think I'm "trolling" by stating the facts I have, so be it.  I've actually had to cheer for them a number of times in spite of these things.  It doesn't change reality just because you don't like it.  But instead of reacting to your own fans acting like they do, you get upset when someone else responds in kind with facts.

Nope, just you!  I’ve talked a number of people that are, or have been members on this site, that have issues with you and your dislike for the Eastbrook program.  I’ve seen you drag these conversations through the mud time and again, so I’m done with you.  Have a nice day.

The next game Eastbrook loses where their fans come on here and just admit they lost to a better team will be a first.  Here's a post during the 2019 state championship game they lost 44-7 where they were blaming officials.  Of course, when they get a "roughing the holder" penalty at home that literally turns a semi-state loss to Bremen into a semi-state win for Eastbrook, you don't hear a peep about officiating.  Or when Andrean is denied an onside kick at "JAS" they legitimately recovered late in another semi-state contest, no questioning the officiating then either.  Just when they get it handed to them by multiple touchdowns, it's all on the officiating.

You’re correct.  Sometimes the Eastbrook fan base isn’t well represented on this site.  The post I made is simply my opinion on what the outcome of this game will be.  I could be wrong.  We’ll know in a few days.  You on the other hand are about the worst Troll on The Grid!  I’ve not seen anyone on here that is simply critical and negative about one particular team!  You have a pleasant week.

  4. Eastbrook is favored by 14 points.  I think it could be that or more.  Eastbrook has had 3 or 4 starters out or limited for the last few weeks and I don’t think we’ve seen all of the starters healthy and on the field at the same time.  This week I think they should be at full strength and a little hungry for some redemption.  I do think Tipton is a talented football team, I just think that this Panthers team is one of the better ones in a couple of years.  It should be a fun game to watch.  Anyone have any thoughts?

I dont think Eastbrook has seen an offense like Lapel.  I am the dad of the QB so I may be a little biased but I think this is going to be a great game.  Lapel has only had three bad quarters all season.  This has been a great sectional the past two years with Tipton, Lapel, Eastern and Eastbrook.  go dawgs!!!!!!

Even if Lapel’s offense is the best one Eastbrook has seen, I don’t think a defense that has given up 200 points this season can stop Eastbrook’s offense.  Not to mention, Eastbrook’s defense is probably the best defense that Lapel has seen all season.  Go Panthers!!

  6. Eastbrook will visit Lapel and Tipton will visit Alexandria in the second round, with Eastbrook and Tipton advancing to the sectional championship game, to be held at Tipton.  Eastbrook will go into Tipton and take home a hard fought win and sectional championship!  That’s the way I see this playing out.

It’s not more football. The number of games doesn’t change. But it’s better football when seeding makes it more likely that the matchups get better as the tournament goes along.

I was talking about it being more football for the higher ranked team that would otherwise lose that first round game.

Mostly because the #1 or #2 team is done after week 1, but the 0-9 team who got a favorable draw gets to play another week. It's one thing if it happens on the field due to an upset. It's another if a 2 or 3 win team makes it to the sectional final because their side of the bracket had all 2 or 3 win teams. For very selfish reasons it's disappointing to get assigned to a sectional final game with a 9-2 team traveling to a 2-9 team. It's likely no fans will be there and you'll have a running clock in the second half.

Where else besides Indiana high school sports are teams randomly assigned to opponent and location in a post-season tournament? Explain this to someone not from Indiana and they will think you are crazy and making it up. It's not logical. But it is what it is, and I'll be happy to get any tournament assignment I can get.

I guess I wasn’t looking at it like that.  The more football, the better!

What an amazing reaction to my first post since my 2020 Catalina Wine Mixer Championship Post.

You guys are too soft around here. I got Eastbrook people coming over here acting like they know anything about LCC. I just need some North Daviess fans to jump on that bandwagon and it'll be like living in 2009.

Remind me: Where are the Engle Brothers from again? Tipton? Russiaville? Ten Buck Two?

What’s good for the goose is good for the gander!

Maybe if he didn't spend his freshman season at Westfield, he'd break the record. Or maybe that was his dad's plan all along so he wouldn't be outdone by his son.

Anyway, looks like Tipton won the most improved move in with that kid.

Surely an LCC alum isn’t complaining about transfers or anything like that nasty recruiting sin.

I was highly disappointed at the MG/Tipton Volleyball game. The meat sauce was not near the same as it had been in the past. Not as sweet, not even the same color as it should be no where near the right flavor.

The grilled hamburgers/cheeseburgers served at the football games I hope are still top notch.

We’ll, I hope someone gets that situation corrected soon!!
