Believing in <insert deity here> and that the earth is flat are both "beliefs", are they not?

Why a "flat earther" offends or scares you and others so much is puzzling.  Has one ever aggressed against you or your family?

    Slow day Muda?

Simply, no.  One is belief/faith, the other is fact.  See the difference?  Unless of course you still believe the earth is flat.  Do you believe the earth is flat Muda?

And where did I say a flat earther offends me or scares me, show me where I said that.

So individuals have to pretty much think and believe exactly as you do in order for you to have any sort of relationship with them.  Got it.

And I fail to understand how believing the earth is flat makes someone an incompetent accountant.

Incompetent, maybe not.  But it would make me question my level of sanity for doing business with a "professional" who believes the earth is flat,.

  3. Agree Irish.  I gradeated HS in 85.  Jordan was in my wheelhouse and  I could not stand him.  I was never a big NBA guy but loved the Pacers.  I hated him and the Bulls. Got all the calls, travels every time he touched the ball, blah blah blah.  Never saw Wilt or Russell.  Jordan was the best I have seen, and it isn't even close.  My god did I just type that?

Can't argue with any of the people mentioned.....great list of front men.

Couple others came to mind that may not be in the top lists, but I like them.

Ronnie Van Zant - Lynyrd Skynyrd (just watched the documentary of the plane crash on Prime Video a couple of days ago)

Glenn Frey - Eagles  (I know they shared the load, but with Henley at drums, Frey seemed to take more of the center stage when I saw them play...favorite being The Long Run Tour, 1979 at IU's Assembly Hall.  Frey wore a "I Love Bobby Knight" T-Shirt, while Don Felder wore a 49ers jersey.  Incredible show.

A couple of others I would list (probably already listed and I missed them)

    Robert Plant - Led Zeppelin

    Roger Daltrey - The Who

    Axl Rose - GNR

Tom Petty - TP & the Heartbreakers

Scott Weiland - STP (not as familar with his other bands....except Velvet Revolver)

Boy George.......you forgot him Trojan.  :)

The hit to auto sales in the U.S. probably won't come from the demand side, but from the supply side.   It only takes a few 2nd or 3rd tier parts suppliers that get their parts from a factory in the Wuhan province and now can't to disrupt the entire supply chain, all the way down to the assembly plants.

I call on these Tier 1 plants.  Those that mfg like parts to their Chinese/Japanese/Korean  counter parts are bringing that production over here.  But for sure this will impact the industry.

I love how Trump planted this virus to bring more mfg jobs to the states.

  6. The Dayton shooter had a rape list and hit list that friends knew about.  Did they report it and nothing was done?  I don't know what could legally be done.

He killed his own sister.  I don't own a gun but fully support the 2nd.  Banning this gun or that gun, is it really going to make a difference?  Vehicles and bombs can do just as much destruction.

  7. Have zero problems with this.  Travel 35K per year on local roads and interstates.  People nowadays do everything in their vehicle except drive it.   We have OTR truckers in our business several times a week.  95% of them I am sure are observant safe drivers.  There have been several drivers that I question how in the *&^% did they ever get a CDL and are in command of a 80,000 pound vehicle.
