East is a football juggernaut I don’t see changing conferences just for one sport. But that’s just my opinion. As for tonight Seymour over BNL Jennings over Madison East over NA Floyd over Jeffersonville

Not tonight it didn’t but yes the talent level is of course down some. Tonight was heart and effort. BNL was stronger and faster than Madison. Madison had more heart and I’ll give them credit for that.

Coach Weber and his staff are top notch. We are seeing first hand what happens with kids who don’t work in the off-season and in the weight room in season. The Sophomore & Freshmen class is loaded with talent. Good days ahead but some major bumps along the way. Still can fix some of this but need so leaders to rise from the ashes (and parents to support the efforts of the coaching staff)

No excuse for the lack of execution by offense. Madison has scored on a defensive holding that resulted in a safety. A FG after a snap went over punters head and Cubs got 3. Then a drive by Cubs for a TD then a pick 6 on the first play from scrimmage on the next drive. Stars are in trouble.

BNL has had two possessions in first quarter...missed FG and interception 0-0 after 1 Madison doesn’t look like a better team but they look like a hungrier team.

Jeffersonville (1-2, 1-0 HHC) at Columbus East (1-2, 0-0 HHC) Madison (0-3, 0-1 HHC) at Bedford North Lawrence (1-2, 1-0 HHC ) New Albany (1-2, 0-1 HHC) at Floyd Central (2-1, 0-0 HHC) Seymour (3-0, 1-0 HHC) at Jennings County (1-2, 0-1 HHC) I think all of us would be shocked if we missed any of these games tonight If East is challenged tonight we know who will be the huge favorite come sectional time.

BNL has to find their offense, they have made some adjustments on defense. BNL will win by 14 New Albany over Jeff by 3 Seymour by as much as they want over Madison. 49-0 East will lose by 21 but battle hard FC by 10

I agree will have to be done first. Gaddis always has them ready. BNL & New Albany both missed their chance last year.

In 2 years BNL could beat them in back to back years. The key word of course is COULD

They could have been 6-0 and claimed a co-HHC championship (as I’m sure BNL or NA or any other school would do. But we’d all know the truth about who the conference champion was. 😬

I’ve seen our team up 35+ & down 35+ I can’t honestly say I’ve seen a coach ours or an opponent intentionally run up the score. I have heard folks in our stands say Gaddis at Columbus East was and that’s laughable. If you call using 2nd & 3rd stringers and running the ball up the middle then maybe he has. I’ve had 2 boys play sports/football and their response even in 2019 is if we can’t stop them that’s on us. Again I am willing to concede and reach a compromise on the rule and hopefully adjustments are made. I know we are beating a dead horse here but drop the 6 quarter rule and I’d say using Varsity players past one series in the third quarter would drop to about 1%. I don’t think officials intentionally make bad calls and screw teams and I don’t think Varsity Head Coaches run up the score. Now Pee wee coaches and referees are another story 😂 Another complaint is we mercy ruled our opponent during the Freshman game Saturday. Same rules apply, ridiculous now a freshman who does not start gets very little playing time. 🤦‍♂️
