Why do people complain so much about a bus ride?
I am from a state where only the top 16 teams in each class got in the tournament.
Our school had never qualified for the playoffs until my junior year. We were more than thrilled to drive 4 hours both my junior and senior year to play in it.

As an outsider but from a neighboring county the story I’ve heard sounds like a classic case of small town politics.
An excellent football coach decides to put the best players on the field and not a certain school board members boys.

This post has went viral and was meant to be funny. Mission accomplished.
My son was on a SeaPerch team that qualified for nationals and got to go to LSU to compete. All while playing middle school and now high school football.
I enjoy both and the skills he has garnered from both are helping him to develop into a fine young man.

Looks as if BNL is right on the line between 5A & 4A. I’m assuming they will continue to be 5A as currently the IHSAA doesn’t do 32 for 5A. I can see sectional being the same just replacing East with Jeffersonville.
That would be a wide open sectional IMO.
An argument could be made for each school to win it as I expect Jeffersonville to continue to improve under Glesing.
