The future is bright in Tree Town! The fire bugs have been snuffed out. The mole has been trapped. Now if I could just get that farm boy down the road to stop stealing my players! Give us 4-5 years and Pirates will be right where they belong. On top! (Still looking for Prep Team volunteers. We suited up a few teachers last week, but the art teacher blew her hammy.)

If you are talking about the rumor that I am going to get fired, it is false. TH has my back and is willing to ride this wave all the way to the beach. The Pirates will rise again, and faith with be restored in Tree Town (I don't know why that's even a thing, it seems dumb to me). But, in the meantime, I need some volunteers. We are a little short handed in Hondaburg and I am looking for anyone, and I mean anyone willing to join the prep team. Last week we had to suit up some assistant coaches for prep team and that is not going to work for the rest of the year. I can offer free tickets to our games, but that probably isn't worth much. I have some buy one root beer float, get one free coupons for A&W that I can give you. We have PLENTY of extra equipment, we just need bodies. Are you a High School dropout with a few more years of eligibility? Still working on that GED? Don't go to Honda, come be a Pirate! We will be holding tryouts (Madden Tournament) in the Electronics Department at Walmart this Thursday from 6:00-8:00. If you're between the ages of 9 and 22, don't have any life threatening health conditions or federal warrants, and can hold a helmet up, come give it a try (Don't worry, errybody gon make it). *Must be able to endure severe physical punishment and humiliation. **No drug screen required.
