Yeah that’s fair about FC. See if Bragg to silver creek has any actual merit to it tho and what they’ll do at QB. bnl has a few new guys coming in to help with some things and some younger guys they’re excited about from what I hear. Will have to replace a lot on defense and what not but return 10 guys on offense from the sectional games and are happy with what they’ll be doing with their new QB should be a fun year for everyone with some new blood at coaches and what not.

Thought you guys just had your best team in school history? and in what way is BNL rebuilding?

The “sports reporter” is a bitter and pompous man. BNL won its first conference title since I was in HS 15 years ago and was a 2 pt conversion away from 2 in a row in 2023. they lost 18 starters and played all sophomores and juniors last season. I could be a little off on this too. But Coach Barker and a few of the locals bought out the non existing youth league from the Club and paid for the new Junior Stars 2-6th grade teams out of their own pockets and put all that together without any help from the school board. 2nd: the weight lifting thing is a complete drop from the schools end. My buddy said coach barker had even put together an entire weight program, in sport focused for the entire school, girls and boys. And not one other team coach came for the months they had it going. I get 2nd hand information, but I’ve been told the last 2-3 years, that it’s been nothing except broken promises and unfulfilled responsibility or show of any sort of support from the admin.

Yes. This lines up with what I heard as well. The Boys basketball coach, who they brought in 2 years ago to replace a guy they canned because of the parents (who had just won a conference title btw), resigned today as well. pretty crazy stuff in Bedford.

I have a friend who was on the coaching staff the last 3 seasons…and some of the stuff he has told me about the administration is absolutely disgusting.

My understanding was yea it wasn’t an actual official crew. Heard Vogel even asked to see their cards before the game but yeah, 100% appreciate anyone who takes their time to give back to the kids and ref their games

I’m just being a jack ass the refs were not good but I’m not stupid and understand the shortage and I’m 1000% not actually putting any blame on the refs for the outcome of a game More so just annoyed by a certain irrational and bias individual in this thread

Just cause BNL got conservative and cause the refs were so unfair and making calls at the worst times tho! I mean, east was digging so deep in their playbook. It was crazy The BNL fans should’ve been rude in the way out to the Olympian’s fans cause the refs were so bad, I can’t believe they weren’t they were in the right

Congrats on the title town man. you’d have been in hell watching the refs in the East vs BNL game tonight. My goodness gracious 5 to 74 on yards. And that’s with an 80 yard touchdown called back counting as 0 to the total
