I'm pretty sure Taylor changed their game plan due to the weather. Most of the season they threw the ball over 50% of the time. They also were stuck inside the 25 towards the South End-zone the whole 3rd quarter and did not allow a score. Would the game have been different in better weather??? Perhaps, but on that night, Taylor fought their rear ends off and came out of there with a victory.

Lewis Cass had to drop out of our 11 on 11 on July 17. We need at least one more team and would like to have 2. Current teams are Knox, Culver, Alexandria and Taylor. We will have a couple of officiating crews to work that night as well. If interested, Contact Rob Patchett at Rpatchett@taylor.k12.in.us We will start at 5:00. We have a turf field and a grass field we will use. Format will be 15 minutes on Offense, 15 minutes on defense and then rotate opponents.

July 17... We would love to have Knox... Right now we have Lewis Cass, Alexandria and Culver.

Taylor High School will host an 11 on 11 on Thursday July 25th at 5:00. We can create up to 4 fields if needed. I would like to have at least 6 -8 teams. If we have enough, I will arrange to have some officials here. If interested, please contact Rob Patchett HFC @ Rpatchett@taylor.k12.in.us. We would prefer 1-3A schools, but not opposed to a larger school if they fit.

Taylor High School has an immediate opening in Biology ( Science) and has 2 Varsity assistant jobs open. Taylor is the Highest paid school district in Howard County, and the Football Team just won its first Sectional in School History in 2024. I teach at Taylor and have taught at several other Schools. Indianapolis Arlington, Westfield, Indianapolis North Central, Northwestern and I worked at Sheridan for a while as well. Sheridan and Taylor are not unruly. Go spend a few days in IPS and find out what unruly is. Taylor is actually one of the better ran buildings I have been in since I left Westfield. Kids will bend to your expectations.... unfortunately, as a sub, no matter where you go, they smell blood in the water.
