Without getting into specifics, how banged up were HH and GS.
HH had a major 2-way impact player go down for most of the 2nd half of the GS game. Also, missed all of the 2nd half of the Jasper game. Other guys stepped up when they had to to get the Ws.

I know you were kidding but...
IMO a muddy field favors a passing team. The ball wont be wet, the receivers know where they are going, and it’s harder for DL to get a take off for a pass rush.
Raining and windy would favor a running team.
Hard to keep the football dry in standing water! 🙂 Guess we'll never know. It is 7pm yet?!?!

If that was true I am sure coach Wilkerson would love to move the game to Gibson county considering his history against the Titans at home.
Nah .. I am sure he would still take his chances in front of the home crowd especially if there was going to be mud involved!

I'm glad to see that this conversation finally left "where to get pizza" to the fact that the biggest game in the state is being played tonight.
I work with one of Southridge's coaches....at least he knows how to smack talk. He says earlier this week, "I'm glad we play Gibson Southern last, because we will both be undefeated." My reply, "good luck with that."
My blood pressure is already up for tonight. Will likely be a one score difference--I certainly don't think this one will be like last regular season game.
BREAKING NEWS - The football field was broken into last night and the sprinklers were left on all night. What a shame. The field was looking good! Mud Bowl will be fun to watch tonight! GO PATRIOTS! (Jk folks)

Allen is lucky to not have a concussion after that one.
Are we sure he doesn't?

I will say this, when HH won state in 2000, that was a well executed trick play pass to Cutler.
Yep, Seifrig to Cutler ... FTW!

No way...undefeated conference champs who “didn’t have their best game” in sectional. We will relish the underdog status!!
It was a shot at the polls because we all know they mean so much! But, what a desperate attempt at bulletin board material with bringing up that quote. I would guess most GS folk would say in our regular season game that your boys and coaches "didn't have their best game"?

You got me bro! So a one time poster goes back to a post I did "with a smiley face" back in January. Hmmmm smells of a troll, fake poster(ie not really a HH guy) or just a sh!t stirrer. HH is the favorite in our conference and sectional....everyone knows that!
Come on man! Stop with the underdog card. GS is ranked 4th in IFCA = Clearly the favorite! 👀

I don't want to beat up on Boonville because I think Coach Ward is building something good there, but I agree the AD's comment about being undefeated and barely beating Bosse didn't show much faith.
I know Kevin Davis. Great guy and he is doing a great job as AD according to everyone I've heard from in the school district. Let's be careful and not assume what was written is what was actually said or meant to be said in the manner it was written. We see it all the time and knowing Kevin the way I do, I highly doubt it is accurate.

I hear the Big 8 Athletic Directors are meeting today. I am not sure if they are voting but I am sure that the main topic will be football from what I am told. I am pretty sure most are in favor. The only two schools that I could see voting no would be Mt. Vernon and Washington. Mt.Vernon really has no options other than to join and Washington because of their size doesn't really have any option either.
I guess nothing to share after this meeting?

Hate to interrupt the "Gibson Southern is Incredible" stream but is there a time table for when this merger will be official?
HA! You must be new to the board? We are all used to hearing how great GS classes are starting at birth.

You are going to hurt the feelings of the Vincennes and Bosse fans.
I certainly hope I’m proven wrong.

If that’s the case 32 is cupcake city. 31 will be a grind.
32 would go from one of the toughest in ‘18 to one of the weakest in ‘19.

All three are great QBs. Although....a small PAC joke going around right now is Allen needs to get more rushing yards if he wants to be named all conference 😂😂😂
Yes, he needs to step up his game. 🙂 Cole Sigler was voted MVP of the conference so I'm nut sure what else could have been done besides having Cole at DB. Maybe next year ...

BTW, congrats to him on the verbal commitment to play baseball at the University of Evansville! I love it when top southern Indiana talent stays close to home!
