I am serious lol. I know in the past sectional games have been switched for this reason.  Just don’t know if it’s like a PAC agreement between teams

If there ever was an agreement in the past, which I don't ever remember, there won't be one for this game.  @tango, may be on to something though.  But, I've also heard an argument on here from from someone that a sloppy field favors a pass heavy offense.  Either way, this game will be played on the good ole natural grass!  I just hope we can see an HH team fully healthy and COVID quarantine free for once.

@DaveMosbey I know you keep us updated on the lower levels on your site http://hhqbclub.com/history, but could you please share HH's Freshman and JV scores for us who are too lazy to click back and forth? Please. I'll buy you a Patriot Dog and Diet Mt Dew at the next HH game I'm able to attend (maybe basketball this year... I anticipate being home Dec 20-Jan 6 for the holidays for the first time in two years). I really want to see Sisley and Sherri in action, and catch up with several others.

Scherry graduated but Sisley will still be here and fun to watch. 😃

Looks like no one will get the same Boonville GS got last Friday.  Word on the street is that #74 has quit.  It may have been because of issues out of his control so I really feel for this kid.  He was a beast on both sides of the ball.

I was impressed with #74 vs HH as well!  Hopefully, the word on the street is wrong.

So here's the story on Mockobees recruiting. He went to several rivals camps as a "DB" between his sophomore to junior year because that's the position he felt he could go d1 gained some interest Cincinnati, toledo,wmu... Well he had a stellar junior season and started to gain interest from schools as a RB. So he took basketball season off to gain weight and get his body to a TRUE 195LBs and was set to make trips as a RB to these camps to showcase his skills this past summer but unfortunately covid19 shut those plans down. I was hoping a Big 10 team would get him on board but unfortunately it didn't happen. I believe because of exposure.  Mockobee has a 122" broadjump, 34" vertical, 6.98 3 cone, 4.0 pro shuttle. Hes got the measurements for sure to play Big10 forsure.

He's impressive that's for sure.  I'm not saying anything will change in his commitment but, in the football "commitment" world kids flip all the time and if he keeps this up I would think the big boys won't shy away from getting involved if they feel the need.  I am not a fan of the flip scenario but it happens all the time.  Either way, it's fun to watch a kid put together the talent and "want to" at the high school level.

Maybe you can find some advice for Wilkerson on how to beat them.

Ha!  So you are going there huh?  :classic_unsure:  Coach Wilk and staff are doing just fine with what they've been dealt this season so far.  Apparently, many are quick to forget who ran through the South in 3A last year?  I don't think he needs any advice on how to win football games, BRO!  Come on man!

I hope we get to play you guys again week 9.

If I was a coach in the PAC I would be struggling to choose who to vote for when it comes to PAC MVP.

Between Brady and Mockobee I could see it going either way.

Navy is getting one heckuva ball player

Really?  I don't think there is any doubt.  Mockobee in a landslide.  Brady can play, obviously, but no doubt who the MVP of the PAC is at this point.

How many starters/players has HH had out?  Have they missed the entire season or just the last 2 weeks?  Hate to see kids not be able to play if they are healthy.

Our boys played the scrimmage and week 1 vs Mt Vernon, then were pulled out of school and put into quarantine around noon the Friday we played Tell City after the school was notified of a positive test.  They were forced to miss the Tell City and Boonville games.  Timing of "exposure" is everything as their last exposure was noon the Monday before Tell City during lunch so the clock started ticking then and ran through Labor Day - 14 days.  Lucklily, they missed less than 11 days of practice so they are able to practice and play this week vs South Spencer.  The North Spencer School Corporation does not allow virtual learning if you want to participate in extracurricular activities.  If they did, most likely there would not have been exposure and missed games if the kid took the virtual option.    There were 4 Senior starters (3 two way starters) quarantined and to my knowledge none of them ever showed any symptoms.  Unofficial word is 13 kids were quarantined due to this 1 case after contact tracing was complete.

My guess is that 99.9% of kids contact traced out due to class room contact with masks on for 50 minutes will NOT get COVID-19.  Why they can't get a test after 5 days to get back into school is just nuts.

Agreed.  They could test negative every day and still have to quarantine and not participate for 14 days.

    No.

Good luck if they're out due COVID.  I get the precautions taken but very frustrating to have players (in our case all Seniors) in quarantine for 14 days completely healthy (and never showed and symtoms) not able to participate in anything.  It forced others to step up but hate it for the seniors.
