If I were to move my kid down south for football only. I would go to Heritage Hills. Linton would be my 2nd choice.
But... we don't recruit move-ins in the PAC. 🤪

Number 80 for GS is really good! Is he playing in college?
Interesting you should ask. it was announced on the broadcast he was committed to Air Force. Then …

If anyone has been having streaming issues like me on the Bash, and not able to watch today, I noticed Walt Ferber with WITZ (Jasper station) will be on the call for this one as well.
WITZ is on TuneIn Radio too.
Bring it home Titans!

Dude. Are you kidding...Dutra was an animal. Left an impression on me and over the last 20+ years of paying attention to high school football, he is one that I'm not sure I will forget any time soon. You don't see many kids in high school that size that can move like that.
My son was on the line trying to block him every play. We talk about him every year during the tournament … at least I do. He doesn’t want to talk about it. He’s trying to forget about him and still has nightmares. 😎 #Beast

GS has nothing to apologize for. They've worked hard for a long time and earned their success. Go kick some @$$ and bring another football title back to southwest Indiana. As far as I'm concerned, its a pretty special club down here and GS belongs. Enjoy the week. Nothing better than a practice on Thanksgiving. Make sure your kids are hydrating like never before.
WIN IT!!
LOS is a special place, especially with a son playing. I’ll never forget 2019 game day taking the elevator up to the second level in the dark where the filming takes place and only coaches are allowed. Best of luck Titans! Might as well bring it home!

That's cute....we just had a kid (football player) that lost half his leg farming. He is continuing to farm and planning to be on the football team next year.
AND... wrestle this year! Incredible.

all games to be streamed on IHSAAtv.org. 15.75 for all 12 games or 10.00 for a single. Just purchased access to all, Go Tigers, Wildcats, and Titans.
I figured everyone in the South Gibson School district would be in Lizton. You must have been assigned to stay behind and hold it down!

I don't think this is a blow out or a 3+ score win for either team. I'll take TW at home 38-35.
Just curious, is Tri West natural grass or artificial turf field?

Always a great couple days of football regardless of who is playing.

That angle also make for a debatable tip/no-tip, but again with the other two angles considered it really just reinforces (from MY perspective at least) a close, but no cigar play by LB #54. This view does help to show the ball didn't elevate right over his hand like it appears in the booth angle, but when taking the EZ camera perspective (filmed from behind the kicker), it reinforces that the ball travels to the left of his hand/arm (kickers right side). But I'm willing to be convinced otherwise with another angle... I mean, if three doesn't tell us enough, how many will?? LOL
...was Zapruder in attendance and shooting from behind the goal posts on the grassy knoll, by any chance?? 😄
Too hard to tell, and doesn't matter now. Unfortunately, I was having trouble getting the radio broadcast of the game and had to settle for refreshing twitter umpteen thousand times to stay updated. It was pretty crazy trying to follow on twitter as a lot happened very quickly for LB in the second half. I am not surprised at the outcome with a Titan victory, just closer than most thought it would be. I was impressed with Yoon a couple years ago as a Sophomore when we played him and it sounded/looked like he continued to make a lot happen out of nothing based on twitter posts.

I'll concur with Dumfries on the FG being basically an EP, but it was actually two yards shorter than the typical EP.
Yes, the ball was on the hash (left hash, not right) so that does make it a bit different, but the snap was right at the holders facemask, the cleanly caught ball went straight to the block without hitting the turf, the kick does not appear to be touched, and it looks like it would have been good from probably 25 or so, maybe a hair more. No Justin Tucker bomb, but it looked like a good, clean ST play. While either the crow's nest camera view or the EZ view is definitely debatable as to whether LB got a hand on it in flight, when taking the two cameral angles into consideration there does no appear to be a player to get close enough to touch it. One guy looks like he might have gotten to it with his finger tips from the booth view, but the EZ view shows the kick coming off at a different looking angle and does not support the finger tip theory. Either way, closer than any of us wanted it for sure.
Now, factor in the STRESS of the kick...? Heck no, this was not basically an EP. A looooooot riding on all those things going right, and they executed very well from snap to hold to kick. Kudos to the GS ST group for the focus on getting it done.
And hats off to LB... down 21-7 at the half, GS scores right away starting the third quarter to make it 28-7... but they never hung their heads and rattled off 22 unanswered points. Very impressive group of kids, coaches, and fans. Definitely a game no one deserved to lose, and I think LB can be proud of leaving everything they had out there.

Wasn’t there another Hendershot (sp?) on that team as well?
Yes, there were 2 Hendershots were on that team. Peyton was a WR and Jake was the QB.

Congrats to the Titans! Enjoy the ride the rest of the way.

I read that HH was missing their kicker and was like oh wow that’s a tough blow, they have a great kicker.
then I seen that he has a twin brother who is the backup 😂
regardless of the outcome tonight..hoping for a clean game and both teams to come away with no new injuries.
Ethan blew out his knee in soccer semi-state. His twin brother Austin is a lefty kicker and has done a great job since Ethan's injury. We've been blessed with great soccer kickers over the years.

Hopefully we can kill the ghost of a couple coin toss games we have come out on the short end off this season.
May have to break out the glove tonight .. and not for picking my nose, @Titan20! 🙂

In 2014 (which my friend forgot to include) and in 2019 we all knew HH and GS had comparable team strength. Perhaps that is the case this year as well, we will let the football Gods decide. HH seems to be on a 5 year cadence though. My guess is they will be really really tough in 2024.
I don't know if your guess is accurate as all of the younger class run together for me, but I'll take a Semi-State/State level team every 5 years and maybe a couple of overachieving teams in between! Sure, it would be great to compete every year for a state title but let's be realistic about it. I am hearing of a couple of last names on the rise that are Patriot legends of the past... Winchell, Goldsberry, and others. We'll see how the kids all stick together and develop but it should be fun to watch. GO PATRIOTS!

Hats off to Bosse for competing on Friday. It would have been easy for them to roll over after we took the early lead, but they continued to battle back. Not sure how many Bosse fans are on here but wanted to give props to them.
Now, back to the GS vs BTC Regional planning... sorry to interrupt.
