  1. Evidence Exhibit A: Currently watching Chitty Chitty Bang Bang.
  2. Alrighty then. I stand corrected.
  3. It happens, they're playing a pretty good team. Lebanon scored 27 against Dwenger, why not Roncalli? Actually it's 22, the kickoff return to the Dwenger 1 shouldn't count.
  4. Lol, I guess you're right. I left before that last TD. Thought the final score was 31-17. Just curious, would you by chance know what was the New Pal/East Central score beginning the fourth quarter? Guilty.
  5. Lol, what was 21 points? You don't know me well enough by now to know that I have more fun with the build up than I care about the outcome? I never toot my horn in victory, only when I'm defending against the negativity toward the north from the south.
  6. Why do you always bring up moral victories when a northern team defies the odds and don't get blown out the way Indy posters want them to?
  7. Nah, Merrillville looked pretty good last night too. Provided a better game than East Central and Bloomington South. The north isn't that bad. Just rhetoric coming from the south + Indy is all. It's all good.
  8. Thanks for the updates.
  9. Miami played with a chip on their shoulder today, desperately trying to keep up with Notre Dame. Can't they play this good every week? Not sure I trust this team. Losses to Louisville and SMU are telling.
  10. So two teams bump up without a state title to show for it. Lol, only in Indiana.
  11. Good, that should disappoint a lot of people.
  12. Really not surprised by this one either. If you can beat Adams Central, you're probably capable of beating anyone within your weight class. Can't say I really knew anything about Brownstown going into this one.
  13. At the end of the day, normally, the better team figures out a way to win. That's what New Pal did, so congrats to them. But anyone who thought Merrillville wasn't going to come in and make a dogfight out this was in a state of denial in my opinion. The Pirates are good and their resume shows it, very well coached. Period, nothing left to be said.
  14. That was a 50/50 call in my opinion. Great coach. Hard to blame him either way.
  15. NP is good, but Merrillville gets a bad rap. They have a good program.
  16. Not surprised in the slightest.
  17. I get that this is and old school forum and doesn't have the popularity it had back when Tim Adams was around. I imagine high school players probably don't know anything about this website, if they did, a few of them would be on here.........human nature. However, I have a hard time believing that a lot of coaches don't visit to see what's being said. If I was a coach, I'd want to know what is being said about my team. They're looking, and maybe even looking for bulletin board material.
  18. Are Catholics in Fort Wayne different from Catholics in Indy, South Bend, and Evansville? I think Catholic institutions have that same level of arrogance that a Carmel, Center Grove, Westfield, Homestead, or Carroll has. You have your good fans and your annoying fans. But let's not pretend that Dwenger's any different than any other program with a high socioeconomic factor.
  19. Happy Thanksgiving 🙂
  20. Is building a program even necessary anymore? Bad coaches can suddenly look good overnight if they can convince some good players to come play for their team.
  21. Well, you know these polls are based on point spreads, which heavily favors IU and Notre Dame with their impressive margin of victories.
  22. You didn't miss much. A few highlights that you missed: Head to the Next Level for some excellent banter between @temptation and @Bash Riprock. Some great conversation after Carroll "outhit" Center Grove. Good build up to the 6A North semi-state game. Indy burbs tied the four year score at two apiece. So the offseason will be fun discussing the rubber match.
  23. @Rodney I just can't Rodney. I was just bluffing when I threw that threat at @temptation. That's a lot of work considering there's only three teams up north that are in the conversation. If Homestead would amp it up, that would give us four. Thought maybe Elkhart would be five, but that program isn't what I thought it would be after the consolidation and the new coach. As much as I wanted to "impress" @First_Backer_Inside, I don't have it in me to do this until next August.
  24. Regional good next year, state good the year after. An opinion based light/medium information.
  25. It could happen. Carroll doesn't screw around when scheduling the best competition. I have a lot of respect for Dinan for that.
