Agreed. When Turkey Run was fighting to keep their program alive, the posts were about how proud we all were of the kids giving it their best. If you look at enrollment and roster, playing the games right now is a win. County officials and School Board gave them no help by going the route with most quarantine risk. (Not a statement about masks or COVID, just risk management on athletes staying in school to be eligible.) Cheap shots take no guts. Most every program in the conference have had their lean years too. Current players practice hard and do their best, respect them for loving the game enough to come out.

Attica 30 North Vermillion 28 FINAL Ramblers finish the game with just 12 players healthy and available. That's how the numbers make a difference. If you have a roster of 30, and you lose 3 kids to contact tracing, you can still play. When you start with 14...1 kid can be the difference between playing and not playing every week. How about some respect for the kids doing their best in all of this? I saw it when Turkey Run had 13 kids....and no COVID to deal with. Great win by the Ramblers. Let the flaming begin....but they are moving on, and that's all you want each week.

I believe Attica' changed games were: Wk 1 - RP could not play, Attica played Frontier instead Wk 2 - Tri-County cancelled, Attica made up lost game vs RP Wk 3 - Seeger had COVID, Attica had injuries game cancelled Wk 4 - Attica had low numbers, game cancelled Wk 9 - Attica COVID, game cancelled It has been a LONG year, so those reasons may not be perfectly right, but I do know they were doing everything possible to play the games, every week, despite having sometimes 13 active players. No backups at any skill positions. They are just taking it one game at a time.
