    Bloomington South 31 Bloomington North 7 (7:51, 3rd) North finally figured out some things at half and finally found the South end of the field for the 1st time, scoring on a shovel pass and jet sweep scoring from 29 yards out.

    Bloomington South 31 Bloomington North 0 (11:28, 3rd) South took just 28 seconds to score at the start of the 3rd. After a kick return to the North 42-yard line, South's Gavin Adams went all 42 yards on a run to score his 3rd rushing TD of the game.

    Bloomington South 24 Bloomington North 0 (half) South gets the ball to start the 3rd. South has been way too physical for North and has controlled both lines of scrimmage. North has just 13 yards rushing and 21 yards passing with just one first down in the half. South has 158 yards passing and 111 yards rushing and 15 first downs in the half.

North turned around and returned the favor by throwing a pick, giving South the ball back on the North 46 yard line. South scored on the drive with a balance of runs and passes with Gavin Adams scoring his 2nd TD on a run. North has just one first down on the game so far.

South went on a 60 yard drive consisting of passes and runs and scored on a 6 yard run by Gavin Adams. North's top offensive player in RB Cody Michulich is back in the lineup after being injured in the 1st qtr of the season opener.

    Peotone (IL) 26 Edgewood 25 (final) In a Saturday contest, Edgewood is still looking for their first win of the season as they lose the game in the final 42 seconds of the game. The Mustangs trailed Peotone 13-6 at halftime but took a 25-13 lead in the 3rd. After Peotone regained the lead late in the 4th, the Mustangs fumbled the ball away ending any chance of a last second comeback.

    Bloomington South 55 Terre Haute North 7 (final) After a very long first half primarily because of 201 total yards in penalties, the second half moved quickly with the running clock.

    Terre Haute South 34 Bloomington North 20 (final) North's best offensive player in running back Cody Michalec was knocked out in the 1st qtr of the season-opening game with Mooresville due to a shoulder injury and he is still out which has probably really limited things for them on offense.

    Bloomington South 55 Terre Haute North 7 ( nearing the end of the 4th) South had an 89-yard kickoff return for a TD brought back for an unnecessary block in the back penalty away from the play, but they ended up scoring on the drive anyway.

    Bloomington South 48 Terre Haute North 0 (5:31, 3rd) With a running clock, South took the kickoff to the 3rd and marched quickly down the field for another TD. PAT failed. South is nearing 500 yards in total offense right now. There were 201 yards in penalties in the first half with much of that charged to THN as things got chippy as South took that big lead while THS couldn't move the ball and was frustrated.
