Assuming this was moved from North Central because of construction?
Was moved to Ben Davis from North Central due to construction. The reason for the move to Anderson University, as I am told, was UIndy was not comfortable housing the players and coaches this year as they have in the past. Anderson University stepped up and said they would do the whole thing.
Good for the Ravens!

Here is some information on the changes to the IFCA North/South All Star Game. I had not seen or heard anything about this until yesterday. Everything to be held at Anderson University.

Yorktown should be in 28 as that is where they were last year.

Peru vs. Logansport. Wow that is interesting.

The Pit will always be home. It's too bad that the press box is teeny tiny, to the point that deep tournament games are moved to Logansport.
The move to Logansport has much more to do with the playing surface than the press box. The field at The Pit is the worst!!!!!

One of the worst, yet one of the best. The Pit at Pioneer. The field is the worst...but, the home crowd is one of the best. We need more COWBELL!!!

Almost April...still no release on classifications.
I am going to go out on a limb and say that there will be NO reclassification at the end of this school year for any sports.

There have been a lot of factors mentioned above.
Here are a few other reasons that may be a factor:
1) Parent buy in-Not only do kids have to buy in to the coach and program but the parents must as well. Parents have to shuttle the kids back and forth to practice, workouts, and such until a time that the kid can drive them self. And parents themselves have to want their kids to do well.(you might be shocked to here parents say "my kid won't get in further in life than me"
2) Teacher support-Teachers can have a lot of influence on kids as well. They are speaking to them maybe more that the parents. If a teacher can say to a student try something new like XYZ sport or ABC club they might try it.
3) Opponents attitude towards Pioneer- May teams are beat before they take the field due to their attitude "We can't beat them, why even try!" This could be said by the actual opponent or the opponents parents, or the opponents classmates, etc. You hear it enough and you start to feel it within you.

Does Logansport stand a chance in this regional matchup with Hobart?

I think you need to take a look at Rensselaer Central High School as a member of this list. total wins, NFL player, state championship and who can debate their line of coaches that have went through their halls as a student/athlete or teacher/coach.
OK coach Nowlin here is your chance to toot your schools horn!

What about Mark Brown. He is an asst. at North Central(Indpls) with head coach experience Carroll(Flora). I think he has been calling the shots on the offensive side of the ball for coach O'Shea. And he is a darn good o-line coach.

53 for NFL.... 75 for high school is plenty.

Is there another way to purchase rather than Amazon? I will not purchase anything on Amazon.

It looks as if we have several young guys on here. Rod Woodson, FW Snider. Another "younger" guy from the Fort would be Bernard Pollard, FW South.
An Indy guy that hasn't been mentioned is Mark Clayton, Cathedral.
I had the chance to watch all of them at least once during their high school career.

I know another “Pit” where he thinks the home team has an advantage.

Referee to the clock operator at a Twin Lakes JV game last Monday night. The officials arms had to be tired by the end of the night. The entire game was like that. I hope it was a student, because an adult could not have been that bad. Twin Lakes scored to tie it with 2 seconds on the clock. The play 2 plays previous ended with 5.6 seconds on the clock. The next play began with 10 seconds on the clock. Then the scoring play began with 2 seconds. Then Twin Lakes 'won' in overtime.
Be careful what you say, Coach Nowlin will start thinking EVERY home team has an advantage.

And it isnt a dumb crusade, there are plenty of legitimate reasons to get rid of 1a
Ok, let's just say we get rid of the 1A football playing schools...then the current 2A schools will become 1A schools and the current 3A schools become 2A.... Soon in Rodney's opinion there will be no football played in the state of Indiana. This sounds like a round ball guy that wants all of the attention on his sport!
NOT GONNA HAPPEN!!!!
