    In 1983 Fountain Central was 9-1 with an early season 6 point loss to North Mont. Week one was at top ranked Tri West. Final FC 24 Tri West 13

    Week 2 home against top 5 North Davies and one of the states leading rushers in Brett Markel. Final FC 24 ND 0

    Semi state at number 2 Sheridan. 30 degrees, hard wind and light freezing drizzle. Midway in the 4th quarter after a Sheridan punt   FC took possession on its own 1/2 yard line trailing 14-13. With a 40-70 pound size disadvantage FC ran all running plays between the tackles and wore down the massive Blackhawks and scored the winning TD for a 19-14 victory. The season was capped off with a 12-3 win over Churubusco for the 1A title . Pretty impressive I swear to God it is

    Noble Johnson leads the entire state in all classes as a sophomore in receiving yards and he doesn’t get to play much in any second half besides NV, ATTICA, and SV. Will be interesting to see how him and his brother can connect the next 2 seasons  

    Logan White is second in passing yards in all classes as he is following West Lafayette's QB. White has played 8 games to WL QB has played 9. 

     

    Kirkpatrick, Ellis, Reynolds are putting up some impressive numbers as well. 

    If PH or NV can pull off an upset vs Lutheran in the regional(I expect one or 2 of those teams to win it) I pick one of those 2 teams to win the state title. Once again WRC will be on top! 

    What would happen to the falcons If they make a long run? I’m not sure how the points system works. 

    The state final will be LCC and Indy Lutherans. I swear to God it will

    LCC Beats Western 21-20 in a great Game. LCC's first 6 plays led to punt and 2 turnovers. After going down 20-0 in the first minute of the 2nd quarter coach Nay called timeout and lit a fire in knights. Knights came out of the timeout with a new attitude and marched down the field for the first score. From there the defense played lights out and shut the Panthers  out the rest of the way. Huge win Headed into the tourney

    I think LCC will win 1A north. I swear to God they will

    For my pizza fans, next time you’re in the Indianapolis/Lafayette/Muncie area find a Greek’s Pizza establishment and order a Greek’s Special. My favorite pizza out their right now.

    Is there a Greeks in Lafayette’s? I’ve been known to travel that direction on occasion. Anyone remember Greeks in Attica and Covington?
