Hate having to hijack a thread about the 5A game of the year with FACTS regarding another topic but this is why the internet can be such a great tool/resource or one that becomes problematic for some.

On one side, ANYONE under an anonymous username can make a claim with little facts to back it up.

On the other, someone like me who is annoyed by the above type of person and who enjoys keeping receipts (as many are doing to me right now regarding the MIC/HCC debate) can call them out and provide evidence regarding many of those claims.

If THAT'S "at least 75 percent full" then I assume you also believe in Big Foot, that the moon landing was a hoax and that the MAC is the deepest conference in college football.

    Check please...

You seem to have a grudge against Warren's Fan base. Did we do somthing to you? The bottom line is that no there may not be as big of crowds at Warren games but when it comes to support the community supports the teams of Warren Central just fine. Weather its local restaurants helping to feed the various sports teams or local bussiness donating money to cover the cost of state championship rings so no family has to fork over money so their kid can have a ring. Last year over 300 fans showed up outside the lockerroom for a send off to LOS for the state title game. Their are alumni online every week from all over the world that wanna know how the teams are doing. So no there may not be alot of fans in the stands on friday nights but that doesn't mean the support isn't there.

I don’t.  As mentioned in other threads, I think it was an emotional rivalry game and ended up being Brownsburg’s Super Bowl...or at least they celebrated like it

    Thanks for your thoughts

  3. Kinda of wierd these 2 teams meeting for a Reginal and not Semi-state title. These 2 teams have met 4 times in the playoffs since 2010 and are currently tied at 2 wins a peice in those 4 games. Last year Warren won with an amazing goal line stand to hold off the Trojans and continue what would be a magical undrafted state championship season. The Trojans pulled off that exact same scenario in 2015 on the way to their Undeafted state championship year ( they didnt need a goal line stand that year to beat Warren though).

These 2 teams seem to bring out the best in eachother and I am looking forward to watch this game in person at Warrior Stadium in Friday night.

Warren has not had a flash offense as in years past this year but the defense outside of the Carmel game has shown up ready to play each week. Center Grove was delt a huge blow when Cardson Steele went down with an injury during the off season and was never able to get on the field. But dispite that set back they have done what they always do and come out each week and play team ball.

Who do you have winning and what's ur score prediction.

    Warren 17-10

We must have different definitions of “upset”.

Most people would say the #1 undefeated 6A team in the state losing to anyone would be an upset. Ohio state losing to Michogan this year would be an upset. LSU beating Alabama next week would be an upset.

When 1 team is favored and they lose to the underdog I would call that an upset. When LC Beat WC back in 2012 I think, it was in the first round they called that an upset.

Merrivile beating Jeff last night was an upset.

It happens to everyone. Sucks when it happens to your team I know.

BD will roll Southport next week.  Also, impossible to have an all MIC final four as it’s an HCC Championship game in sectional 5.

Yea I just saw that. I thought BD and BBurge were in the same sectional see as how they are close together. My bad.

  6. One of my coolest travel stories ever didnt even start with a high school game in mind. A buddy and I went to Bloomington for the Bucket game. It was about half time and Purdue was killing IU and I turned to my buddy and said hey Roncolli is playing Jasper for a semi-state title tonight in Jasper wanna leave here and head to the game? Him being as crazy as I am said sure. Neither of us had ever been to Jasper so I had to look it up on my phone. We hopped in the truck and started down south to go watch the game. I put in Jasper High School in my phone thinking the stadium was at the school. Well we get there and the school looks deserted. A guys just happened to be walking his dog and told us the field was actually near the center of town. We got there the visiting stands and home stands were packed so we ended up standing I  the end zone. I looked over and low and behold Jimmy "Mad Dog" was standing right next to me chewing on a cigar. Didnt get back into indy till almost 1 in the morning. Best road trip for football I've ever been on.

    I love traveling
