Would not the Creek hosts South Dearborn? Always believe a distant travel to be a homefield advantage.

I agree, the long travel could be a factor. Having played both teams, I think they match up well in terms of athletecism and size, but South Dearborn is the more physical team from what I saw. They are also looking for their first Sectional Title in school history, so they will be motivated. This could be a very close game, but I think SD edges them out.

  2. Well, the brackets have been set. It would appear that South Dearborn probably benefits the most from the "blind draw", with only Indian Creek standing in their way to the Sectional Championship game. Although I think Creek matches up pretty well with them, and it could be a game. Lawrenceburg probably drew the short straw as they will face an undefeated Centerville team in the first round, and potentially face Batesville in round two.

Personally, I was hoping Batesville and Lawrenceburg would meet up in the Sectional Championship, but the draw is the draw. At least that game (assuming Batesville and Lawrenceburg both win first round) will be in the Dog Pound. Great time of year!!!

Yeah the dirtbag comment definitely uncalled for. You get what you give comment don't work either with me. I work with a dude that always says that and is the  worst attitude worker I've ever seen, cries about everything and he does it all. And actually don't do diddly. Lol

I apologize for the dirtbags comment, I tried to remove it but guess I can't. It wasn't directed at kids (I don't think many kids are even aware of this forum).  Don't care about the "get what you give" comment. Sorry you work with someone that rubs you the wrong way....

What part of the game wasn't clean? It takes alot for a grown man to call kids dirtbags.

You're right, my bad...I will edit it. My comment wasn't directed at the kids as it seemed some of what I saw, and heard, was likely prompted by adults. Doesn't matter, the game is over. Time to move on to next week.

  5. This could be the pinnacle of bad weeks in the EIAC

    Hondaturd at Fabio's

The grown up Trojans might as well sit in the student section and let the JV/Freshman/MS/Pee Wee Trojans play the Pirates. The hardest part about this week for the Trojans is trying to manage things so that they don't score over 100 points (they won't, but it will take effort on their part to prevent it).

    Stinktown at Connertucky

The losing streak continues for Connertucky as the Tiger Rats win this one handedly. Hopefully STC and crew have a sober driver for the long haul to and from Connertucky. A belly full of TigerBL's and a road full of whitetails could make for a bad combination.

KFI's Mardi Gras Crashin Bourbon Rats at Flatbill Timberlakes

No inflatables, no smoke show, no walking tacos, bourbon shots, or beads this week. Just a good old fashion butt whooping and ribeye sandwiches for KFI and the boys. Boom may try to top the beat down they put on Hondaturd, but that's about the only excitement in this one.

    Jo Jo's at Casket Nation

Jo Jo's is no match for the Bulldogs, but it is Senior night, so that will be fun. Hopefully those Seniors can get it done in the first half and celebrate from the sideline most of the second half. Again, the big question is, do the Bulldogs use this week to get better at what they believe will help them win Sectional???

Every game in the conference should be over by halftime.

  6. Worst HS football team I have ever seen. Probably one of the worst football games I have ever seen. No one is better off having coached in it, played in it, or watched it. Except maybe our kicker...I think he got better. Other than than that, this week was a total loss. Three more guaranteed games!

You will see tonight K9!!! We had so many people come out that it locked up the WiFi at Walmart. Even ran out of Ovaltine! Picked up some solid players too! Good news is, we picked up 12 guys, but we only gotta buy 3 mouthpieces!

You better get to the parade man. I'm sure the people of Hondaturd want to see your smiling face!! We'll see ya soon...

I remember 2013 when Trojan nation had a full change-over...dark dark days back then, however in 5 short years JR brought home the crown.  Not saying LR will do the same in Hondaburg....but its always darkest before the dawn.

Oh yes, I remember it well. Trojan fans were ready to run JR out of town that year. Little did they know...

i'm just wondering why gb is soooooo bad this year? what the heck happened?

They were never really good. But yes, they are unusually bad. Not gonna spread "rumors" but they have a new HC, new staff, new system, etc. Supposedly their numbers are way down.

I'm not sure why people continue to wonder if EC will run up the score on someone. I don't recall a game they did that with the current staff and coach meiners has spoken about the importance of getting younger guys in on Friday nights.

I agree, Coach Meiners is a class act. The intention of my comment was to point that out....

  11. Well, it's another seemingly boring week in the EIAC with really only one game worth discussion.

Connertucky at Big Red and Black

More of the same here. The Trojans are coming off of a 51-0 beating of the Rats where I hear they showed mercy for KFI and called off the attack. Connertucky will give them less of a fight than the Rats, and this one may be over in the first quarter. Trojans win by as many as they want to.

    Stinkown as Flatbill Timberlakes

STC and the crew will be fired up after losing a game that they probably feel they could/should have won. Not sure when Big Haus QB will be back, but it seems the rest of the Tiggers are starting to get healthy. Flatbill Timberlakes don't have much, other than a couple one hit wonders, to offer. Stinktown wins this one big and moves forward.

    Jo Jo's at Bourbon Rats

This could be the EIAC game of the week, and likely be the battle for first loser on the small side of the conference. I could be wrong, but I think these two teams could match up well. But ultimately I think KFI has the better team, and JoJo's have never seen the type of intro that those Rats are about to break out. The Rats over JoJo's 35-21.

    Casket Nation at Hondaturd

This is one that I used to look forward to! It's no secret that this Dog doesn't like Pirates!! But they are SO bad this year that it isn't even fun. The question is...do the Dogs use this week, and the following couple of weeks, to get better at what they want to do? This game is an opportunity to really blow up those stats. Or, it could be a week to focus on what really matters....winning Sectional and what it's gonna take to do it!!!! The Dogs take this one easily, showing little mercy for Little Ralphie. How they do it...We Shall See!!!

Is it true K9? Have the pups abandoned Z and the Z-book?

No idea. STC had me so tore up on BulldogBL's and YeagerBombs that I barely made it across the street. Last I remember it was 14-0, and the next thing I knew some janitor woke me up from under the bleachers and said I had to get out. He said that the Bulldogs had won, but then grumbled something about goose poop and how they were going to get us next time. I stumbled back over to Connie's and started drinking with Stink again. What a night! I'm still not back to 100%.

Why would a Trojan be so concerned with what the Bulldogs do? Aren't we SO beneath the mighty ReD aNd bLaCK?

  13. It was a great game, and definitely lived up to what I believe has consistently been the best game in the conference. Those Tigers kept fighting and would not quit. The Dogs played pretty well, but still lots of work to do. I'm sure it won't be the last time we see Stinktown again, and both teams will likely look much different in a few weeks. Hopefully everyone stays/gets healthy and we have another great game down the line.

STC sure was hospitable and lived up to his end of the bargain. We didn't crawl out of Connie's until sometime yesterday and this dog was whooped!

Why for is 3C in the GID clink?  Did he go all John Dutton on someone and get caught?

From what I hear, there was a "Great Reset" on the Grid and the Cowboy had to make a new account, and it has been waiting for admin approval for almost a week. If anyone in the EIAC knows an admin, please tell them to approve Triple C! He only has a few more days on his prepaid phone, and we're a long way from the first of the month when he gets his check, so this needs to happen fast!

  15. Stinky, Stinky, Stinky 3...2..1. Everybody knows that the Grid is just for fun.

But you can keep your nacho dip, this dog won't eat your meal. For the game that will be played tonight, it will be for real!

The clown will be my enemy, from 7:00 until the End. But when the game is over, you'll be back to K9's friend.

To Connie's we will go, hands full of dollar bills. An old Dog and a Clown, off to get their thrills.

As close as close can be, like a rock beneath the moss. The only difference between you and me, is you'll have one more loss.

    FREE THE C!
