  1. You, an Eastbrook fan (parent I assume), have no issues with a game-changing call that went Eastbrooks way. Color me shocked. It seems that your confidence on the call is through the roof so why not back up your position with the Hudl clip? Seems pretty easy, but I digress. Good luck against Eastside.
  2. Interesting. You should definitely post the Hudl clip that shows it was a catch and clear all this up!
  3. I believe Coach Nowlin is referring to the incident in 2005 when Heights beat Tipton in the last couple minutes of a sectional game and a certain mother of a player came onto the field after and planted something on it. To be honest, I can't remember what it was that she planted. I've always thought that time period was when the rivalry was at its peak.
  4. With the exception of Pioneer being so high and Luers not being in the picture, I think they do a pretty good job relative to the Sagarin. It all gets settled on the field anyway!
  5. They sure did. Up three scores and no timeouts from the opposition, if I'm not mistaken. Unlike on Friday. There would be no flak from me if they would have chosen to run another play at the end, either. Would have hardly been "running it up" in a 17 point high school football game. Is this the hill you've chosen to die on? If so, its not very high.
  6. They definitely should! The asterisk explanation at the bottom will probably read: "LCC was down 4 starting positions. Tipton was down 5 starting positions. The final score was almost exactly what Sagarin predicted it would be." 😉 Would be cool to play LCC again. Coach Nay and his program are highly regarded in Tipton County.
  7. You need to be given an excuse for not kneeling in a two score ball game where the team on defense had two timeouts in their pocket? I recall LCC being up two scores against Tipton 6 or 7 years ago with 3 or 4 minutes left in the ballgame and Tipton ending up winning so you can appreciate the sentiment that its not over until its over. If Tipton takes a knee and Nay uses his timeouts and gets the ball back, then the game changes, especially against a team like LCC that throws the ball downfield. If the roles were reversed and LCC was up 13 points in the waning minutes, I would fully expect them to punch it in from the 5. This is silliness, but I'm getting the vibe that you know that.
