The Griddy Grid is back, and not a moment too soon!!!! LOTS to talk about in SE Indiana!!!

The Trojan "horse" crossing state lines for recruiting meetings mid season? Could karma have attributed to the broken hoof? Dogs hosting ragers in Casket Town 🤦🏻‍♂️. Flying headsets and apology letters coming out of Ratville after a no brainer "bad call" that didn't even change the outcome of the game. WHAT IS HAPPENING IN THE EIAC????

I'm sure there will be lots of commenting on that!!!! On to this week's matchups and predictions.

Dogs vs The Artist Formerly known as Timberlake. Dogs obviously will be short a man, but I don't think they have enough juvenile delinquents on the roster to give Rushtucky an advantage (unless there's a Toga party this week that I don't know about). 28-14 Dogs

Stinktown continues the cream puff portion of their schedule this week against the artist still known as Timberlake. The flatbills seem to be slightly recovering from Lil Ralphie, but I think it's gonna take a while to right that ship (pun intended). JV Tiger Rats by 4th quarter in a Stinktown win 35-7. 

Mighty ReD aNd BLacK rolls Chicken and Jo Jo's without their horse, in an effort to regain some confidence after last week's beat down. I have heard that Jo Jo's QB is legit though (wonder why he didn't play last year 🤔) but it won't be enough. Might EC gets lots of looks from their prospective RB's in a 42-14 victory. 

KFI River Rats vs The Rose City Red Devils. Although the Dogs barely edged out the win, the Taco Rats were not very good. Coach Boom's headset went for more yards than their QB passed for all night. Maybe that's why they can't figure out what offense they want to run? Let me tell you, they run it all!!!! Not well, but they run it. The good news, for them, is that the Red Devils are probably worse. No 👇🏽 this week. KFI Mardi Gras Invaders get right with a 26-7 (apparently they don't have a single kid in the school who can kick) victory. 

Connertucky meets the Regatta Cubby's this week. There will be half priced body shots at the Long Branch this Friday night, and a town family reunion on Saturday. Bring your uncles cousin, cuz it's gonna be a hoot!!! Cubs are bad, bad, bad. Connerbillies win 21-7. 

Good to be back on the Grid!!! Football just didn't feal right without it.

I was at the South Dearborn at Jennings County game in week 1. Seeing the Knights always go for 2 after touchdowns was one thing. Seeing them go for it on 4th and goal from between the 15 and 20 when they were in field goal range was another thing. Every Jennings County fan sitting around me started remarking that they must literally have no one in their school that can kick field goals. We couldn’t believe it.
