Varsity Assistant Coaches/ JV Assistant Coaches

Description: Southern Wells is looking to hire Varsity Assistant Offensive/ Defensive coaches -- the exact position is flexible. We are additionally looking for two Freshman/JV assistant coaches for either side of the ball. Teaching positions are uncertain at this time, but we anticipate openings throughout the district. 

 

Duties: Come up with position-specific drills for your position. Build relationships with your position group. Input and study Hudl data. Build and support great men of character and all other duties assigned by the head coach. 

 

Skills: Preferred if played at least the high school level, basic computer skills, able to communicate and work collaboratively. 

 

Defensive Coordinator

Description: Southern Wells has an opening for a Defensive Coordinator. Previous DC experience is not necessary, and preference will be given to motivated individuals looking to advance in the coaching profession. Great opportunity for a young coach wanting a starting opportunity. Teaching positions are uncertain at this time, but we anticipate openings throughout the district. 

 

Duties: Coordinate all aspects of the defense, and assist the head coach in other responsibilities. 

 

Skills: Preferred previous coaching experience at the high school level, basic computer skills, able to communicate and work collaboratively.
