Carroll at Eastern -- Eastern stuffs the run and wins a close one 36-34 Clinton Central at Taylor-- Taylor wins this one with relative ease Tri Central at Delphi-- Delphi wins first one after playing a tough schedule so far. Ballhawk Posted September 13, 2023 Share Posted September 13, 2023 Carroll at Eastern - Mrs. Ballhawk was a Comet, so I'll take Eastern. Would this be an upset? Clinton Central at Taylor - the Bulldogs are struggling, so this is a game the Titans will remember, for a week or so. Tri Central at Delphi - I can 'see' the Oracles winning their first game of the season. Close win over the Trojans. Saturday night special Clinton Prairie at Sheridan - it is the 100th Homecoming at SHS this weekend. Sheridan was reportedly the first school to have a homecoming, so the tradition was supposedly started by the Blackhawk faithful. The interesting note is that Coach Wright has coached 58% of Sheridan's homecoming games. That is staggering to think of. There is too much history and pride on the line for the Hawks to fail in this one. The Gophers may provide a challenge, but 100+ years of tradition and excellence will prove too much for CP.
