Also the 1998 game was a classic at Broad Ripple, won by the Irish with a late field goal 26-23. I believe that's the night that the West Virginia band played at halftime. Our home field was the old Cincy State College stadium as we didn't have a home field, just a pasture to hold practices. We weren't very good back then, though we usually got thrashed by the other GCL teams we seemed to always beat Colerain. Still remember Coach Heidorn and Coach Nienabor like it was yesterday. 1 Quote
