  1. Congratulations to Triton Central and the entire Fairland community. The Northwest Cons. School District has done a tremendous job in taking care of their students and athletes. I will leave the money situation up to the people who are assigned that responsibility. Enjoy the new carpet fellas!!
  2. Can't believe that Southport and Perry will be split up from Conferences. Always thought it was a package deal! WOW!
  3. Cambridge City Lincoln - big fan of your picture "fins up!"
  4. When I first read this posted title, I had no idea that parents decided when it was time to change coaches!! hahaha. Good Luck Coach Blankenship.
  5. I would be surprised if even the right hire could bring it back from where it is right now! Very tough place to work and coach, but the kids have potential. It's the adults that have the real issues. Good luck to whoever takes a chance.
  6. Much better than last year! MUCH! Can run or pass anywhere and strong on D!
  7. Yes, brothers. Congrats to the Raiders and Coach Peebles!
  8. Wasn't trying to fool anyone. That is just the way it posted! Seems like a bad situation.
  9. Wow!! Some people should never be in authority roles! Good luck to Coach Albano! Board rejects Albano's request for meetingBy Stuart HirschThe Herald Bulletin ANDERSON — Randy Albano is officially out as head football coach of the Anderson Indians. Albano asked for a private meeting with the Anderson Community Schools Board of Trustees in part to contest an evaluation he said was unfair. But the board denied that request Tuesday and without comment voted unanimously to uphold the recommendation to release Albano from his coaching duties. The decision does not affect Albano’s status as a teacher. Anderson High School Principal Terry Thompson declined to comment on the decision to release Albano. As a coach, Albano serves on an “at will” basis, meaning he can be fired for any reason. Albano told the board he was seeking a special meeting because he was concerned about how an evaluation of his performance as coach was conducted and that it portrayed him in a bad light. All he wanted, Albano and his attorney, Kevin Eads, said was the opportunity to speak on his own behalf. Albano left the school board meeting immediately after the vote and offered no additional public comment. Albano coached football for 33 years, including 27 as head coach. He was head coach at Anderson High School for five years. Last fall, he led the Anderson Indians to their first sectional
  10. Harrison (West Lafayette) - the way it is written on John Harrell's site. Sorry for the confussion!
  11. Congrats to Coach Peebles!! Terry Peebles always hoped to become a head football coach at the high school level in Indiana. His career took him down a different path and he spent the duration of his professional life at the college level. Seeing an opportunity to take over a program he believes has potential to be top-notch, Peebles finally fulfilled his original career plan when he was named the head football coach at Harrison on Wednesday. “I always wanted to be in Indiana high school football because I always wanted to be a teacher,” said Peebles, who will teach physical education when he takes over the Raiders program in the fall. Peebles is a 1991 Cathedral graduate who was a two-time All-American quarterback and the 1995 Division III National Player of the Year at Hanover College. He has served as the offensive coordinator at Benedictine University, Waynesburg College, Hanover College, Carthage College and Bluffton University. Peebles also played professionally in the Canadian Football League as well as in Germany and Italy.
  12. sure doesn't seem fair to the kids, but it is public education based schools in Indiana. Again, kids suffer.
