  1. Saturday morning and time to look back...

River Rats in White Jackets vs. the Hill-Rom Hitmen...didn’t really see this one coming.  I thought the KFI would be in full effect, but didn’t think the instinct would be coming from the Bulldogs!  34-7 and I hear 7 came on the JV guys...sounds like someone was pouring it on!  Pay back I guess.  I watched that game in Lucas Oil when a senior QB was still in there slinging it in the fourth quarter!  let’s see if @KFI has a different take on things...

Rushville at FC?  No contest.  FC is looking the part this year!  Stacking points on the board when ever they can and thumping their chests.  We will see what happens when they go to EC next week.  Test week for sure!

Trojans vs. Big Moe...wow!  This was a shock.  Didn’t know if they had it in them.  That defense seems solid!  Offense has looked like a question mark, but Fike sounded like he was running all over them.  Big win for that program and a dot on the map for EIAC football.  Stinky had the score almost right...just flipped it!

Ol’Stink likes the former DC’s chances with the Spartans against my Pirates...well we see how that worked out!  I have to hand it to them, they are much improved over seasons past.  He’s got some things going in the right direction.  Our guys have got a lot to work on, but sitting at 2-1 I’m proud of our record!  We have as good a record as two of the top EIAC teams in Lawrenceburg and EC!

Just happy to see another great week of football!  Let’s keep going and keep these kids playing!

  2. So no game for FC and now I’m hearing no game for Connertucky?  Maybe Richmond should make the trip past the lake and come play the Wildcats.  I hear they have an ark atop their stands just in case the dam breaks.

I’ll take Rushville over Milan...3-0, 30-12, 49-48... with no media no one will ever know...

The caskets end up 6 feet under ground, but I think they keep their heads above the dirt with Indian Creek (Crick if you ask grandma Ethel).  21-17

BoomBoy will take the KFI to Seymour Butts down under the bleachers.  White jacket and visor will be poppin’ on the sidelines under the tent as they watch their upgraded Westinghouse 32 inch Jumbotron.  The knights beat the owls 35-14.

Red and Black Attack vs El Tigre...a good first half last year.  Maybe the Tigers can hang a full game...then again, maybe not.  EC and their never ending sideline of players is tough to overcome.  With 6 feet of distance between players on the sidelines they will have to wrap around the track twice.  EC 31- tha Burg 17

And the Pirates will sail into Shebyville Friday night hungry to start their season.  After a strong finish To last season they will be ready to battle again.  Pirates Win 56-7

    Put it in the books.

Enjoy it Football fans!  It’s almost Friday Night!

Well 8-Ball...I think the end is near.  I know, I know I've been wrong once or twice this season going against your Bucs.....but this time....

Thank you for picking against the Pirates again.  Your pick is the kiss of death for any team other than the Bad Boyz.

Our QB is on fire right now!  About 260 total yards and 5 TD’s!  That’s something to take note of...the Tigers will have to choose which barrel of the Blunderbuss offense they want to try to stop...over 1000 passing yards and nearly 2500 rushing yards...stop one and the other will attack.

A nearly perfect game will need to be played.  But I think the Bucs are ready.  As @Tanka Jahari said in another thread...

”In the Indiana high school football tournament anything isn't not possible on any given Friday night.”

I will hold hope for another week.

Your Trojans will need to work this week to fix a few things.  I am confident that they will right the ship and do the EIAC proud in the 4A bracket.

I foresee Blue, Red and Black in regional!

We will make believers out of the Stinktown!62BE3870-4B46-4619-9186-D2D282C9D42F.thumb.jpeg.2eb569f95406f67577a38ae555054eb6.jpeg

  4. Well, well, well...

everyone jumped ship on the Blue Bucs...everyone except me...the 8ball doesn’t lie!

    now for this week???

    EC vs. Mooresville

I agree with the clown.  EC had their hiccup.  I think they will come back from this past week determined and will play a much better football game...they better or they may be joining the Bulldogs and watching from outside the lines.

    Stinktown vs. Pirates

This could be a good game, but I do believe that after this week I will have to become an EC guy as I don’t think the pirates can overcome the Tigers.  They are too strong up front and their passing/run game balance will prove too much for the Bucs.
Wait a minute!  That’s the Pirate pops talking (I’ve already had about 12 this morning and there’s plenty of Pirate pops left)...Lawrenceburg will be stunned this week...just like Batesville tried to act like they were shocked that they lost.

the Pirates are playing inspired football right now!  Emotion carries them...lawrenceburg will over look the Pirates and they will plunder stinktown and bring the sectional championship aboard the Pirate Ship!

    You crack me up!

Sorry Bobref.  Didn’t mean to upset you.  Just making a comment from info I’ve read here.
In general, I know that players are human and can make mistakes and draw flags from officials I would think that it is also agreeable that refs are humans too and can have bad games where they make mistakes as well.  Perfection by either can not be expected.

Honestly, football fans are the 2nd most paranoid people on the planet ... just behind football coaches.

And I would say that referees are second only to weathermen in the acceptance of incorrect calls.

  6. Wow!  What a night for football!

    Tigers blow by Charlestown.

Trojans survive and beat Greenwood and the refs.

And the Pirates prove that they are the best team in blue in the EIAC!

As everyone else here lost faith in the Bucs and walked the plank changing their picks to Batesville they show that they are too much for the Bulldogs.

Great job to all the EIAC teams!

Oh yeah, @Coffin K9, my relatives in the WigWam won big, too!

Now on to Sectional championship preparations for the BEST teams in the EIAC.

  7. There is no coming to senses.  Only laughing as everyone changes their picks to save the delicate feelings of a few members of the board.

I will let my previous picks stand.
    tigers,

    trojans

and the mighty swashbucklers get another week of football.

the Dawgz get to clean up the locker room, put away the equipment and wonder how they could have fallen this far from the mighty power they once were.

enjoy the night and the rest of everyone else’s season!

  8. I am still wondering what the rest of his camera roll looks like on his phone.  Also wondering where he was to get pictures of the pink Pirates?!?  Some sort of a parade?

Its the last bark from a dying dog.  After Friday night there won’t be much more for the blue Pups to talk about (besides Cherry Thing-a-Lings, caskets, and what store will go into the old Pamida center next month) so let him have his fun.

One of the best I have seen! Several weeks ago 8 Ball made the comment that one player doesn't change a game. I remember thinking to myself...you obviously have not seen this kid play! Number 5  for the Red and Black can absolutely change a game.

I had to go back and look at this...I remembered saying that, but also know how some folks like to take things out of context...that kid is a great player.  I’ve seen him live a few times and on rebroadcasts and he is a monster!  And for the record...one player doesn’t make a team...one player can certainly change a game.

  10. Greensburg vs. Batesville

I don’t see how the Pirates lose this one.  I look for the defense to shut down the Bulldogs offense and the Bulldog defense will struggle to do the same with the Pirates.
Buy your Sectional championship tickets, Greensburg.  So looking forward to an EIAC sectional championship game!

    Lawrenceburg vs. Charlestown

    See above.

    East Central vs. Greenwood

I've got East Central in this one.  That Trojan defense is tough.

The only thing Hondaturd is gonna take care of is equipment hand in on Saturday morning!!

This is the same attitude I would imagine all male dogs have on their way to the neutering table...talk to me on the other side K9.

Thanks for the report Trojan12.  Good luck next week at Greenwood...check the scouting report yet?

  13. Well, the dust has settled.

Game of the night was The Blue Bucs!  Wow what a game!  Came down to the last minute and what a finish!  Now to take care of EIAC opponent Batesville who were able to finish the job this time against Rushville.

No surprises in the burg with Lawrenceburg rolling Scottsburg.

South Dearborn held the mighty Mooresville Pioneers to 35 points...and put up a couple scores...didn’t follow this one but I wonder if the knights scored in garbage time or if it was when it counted.  Maybe KFI was there or coach will get on and give us a report.

No surprises in Trojanville as they knocked off Silver Creek.  Again I wasn’t following this game and wonder if there were any interesting notes on this one.

Good luck to those still playing in the EIAC and to those EIAC teams playing each other this week...may the Blue Team win!
