  1. First, I meant no ill will towards your son, or Parke Heritage. There are hundreds of teams who wish they had a 10-2 record in high school and played for a Sectional Title. The players have nothing to be ashamed of. I was simply inquiring about information I had gathered from a credible source. Second, I certainly post about more than my opinions of Brian Moore. Third, Coach Moore is an incredible coach who has seen success at literally every place he has been. It's hard to not like that or not have respect for that! But at the same time, when all you do is win, the list of people who want to see you lose becomes much longer than the list of people who want to see you win. I'm sure the Falcons and Crabtree are familiar with that. I'm also sure since you've been watching/attending/playing high school sports for 45 years you can understand that. I see the confusion here. Yes, on the Falcons final drive, the Wolves initially had a 3 man rush and dropped 8. But after the Falcons crossed midfield(With less than 1 minute left on the clock) the Wolves switched to a 4 man front and walked and Blitzed a linebacker off each edge(6 Pass Rushers). They were 2 over 2 on the receivers on the edge playing Man with no safety in the middle of the field. The remaining LB played soft coverage in the middle of the field but there was no one deep. Again, the Wolves beat themselves. Yes the Falcons absolutely did make plays, but the Wolves were in no position to make them. The Falcons threw the ball 13 times out of 14 plays on their final drive. There was absolutely no need to have an 7 man box. I'm sure your son has access to PH's Hudl. Watch the film Good Luck to the Falcons this week. Mama Says SO!
  2. Mama Says, I'm sure I might have lost some credibility after the whole pooping in my pants thing, BUT... I have it on good authority that Parke Heritage sought help from coaches outside of their school to gain an advantage defensively this week. I was told the Wolfs had a "Guest" Linebacker coach throughout the week from a neighboring WRC School. Can anyone confirm? If that is factual... it could lead to serious infractions to all schools involved from the IHSAA Anywho, not that that helped them any, Who makes the call to play no safety in the 4th quarter, up by 5 when the other team has the ball with only 1 timeout?? What did the Wolfs think the Falcons were going to do? If there was 3 minutes on the clock I would have expected the Falcons to run a little more, but there was under 2 minutes and they had to drive almost the entire length of the field. The Wolfs loss last night is entirely at the hands of their coaching staff. They had a Sectional Championship all but in the bag, and out-coached themselves with poor game management. Mama Says SO!
  3. I did so to avoid a fart sandwich from that creep named Tanka Jahari. I'd rather enjoy the smell of my own crap then that dudes!
  4. Mama Says The 39th ranked team in 3A upset Indian Creek last week. Good thing what your team is on paper isn't what plays on Friday night, right? West Vigo had a solid football team this year regardless of their rank. As anticipated by Mama, the South Put game was much closer than you and several others assumed. And South Put had several opportunities to make it a 1 score game in the 4th quarter. Mama Says So!
  5. @Tanka Jahari Any Fart Sandwiches this week?
  6. Mama Says The North Vermillion vs South Putnam contest will be closer than anticipated. You can't just look and see that South Putnam is 5-5 and assume that NV is going to walk over them. South Put plays a tough schedule with some quality wins over teams like West Vigo. If the Falcons take the Eagles lightly, they could easily be watching the Sectional Championship from the stands. I don't see Crabtree letting them get caught watching the paint dry, but expect this to be a close game Can the Ramblers play spoiler 2 years in a row? They certainly have the ability to. Attica is by far the most physical team in the conference. The rain isn't expected to last through Friday which is an advantage for the Wolfs. I could see this game going either way. Probably the game of the week in my opinoin Mama Says SO!!
  7. Do you swear to God though!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!
  8. Mama Says PH over Cloverdale - I'd like to think that this could be a closer game than expected. Looks like Cloverdale has some athletes on Defense both up front and in the secondary which could give the Wolfs some fits. However, my gut says Wolfs by 4 scores. Falcons win a close one in Covington - I am the first person to say that the regular season means nothing in the tournament, but I can't help but think about how little the Men of Troy could muster in Week 3. Despite that, with the game at the Complex, I expect this to be a close one. NV by a score. Mel Gibson's over the Fighting Visors - It blows my mind how bi-polar SV has been this year in terms of wins and losses. A poor outing with Seeger in Week 8 and then a convincing win against Attica in Week 9? Regardless, the patriots, despite a loss to the Falcons are firing on all cylinders right now, and should be able to take care of the Mildcats. SP starts Sectional week 1-0 - South Putnam is much better than their record indicates. I expect them to win easily. Great year for the Pantherz Attica Dominates the Mustangs - There are better days for the Mustangs, of that I'm sure. If I was Attica I would get there and get out. Big Week next week for them
  9. Mama says There is nothing worse than having to quote Tanka Jahari on the Gridiron. North Vermillion wins a close won in Cayuga - Too much on the line for the Falcons to take the Mel Gibsons lightly. However Seeger is trending up and will be legitimate contenders in the WRC race next year and for the foreseeable future. I genuinely like the Seeger program, community, etc. but who on God's green earth wants Rockville to win even a share of the WRC? Call it Parke Heritage or whatever you want it's still Rockville. As Donnie Baker would say "I swear to god it is!" Attica wins narrow match with the Mildcats - Oh how the mighty have fallen. I'm not surprised how the trajectory of South Vermillion's season was affected with the loss of Joey Shew. Kid is a absolute monster on the field. There are better days for the Mildcats in 2020, but 2019 isn't for them. Can the golden visors finish the year at .500 or above? - The continued success with the ''less is more'' approach Ryan Good has had to take in Attica is THE success story of the WRC. Hands down Parke Heritage by literally whatever they want - Better days are ahead for the Mustangs, but they won't get any solace this year, and especially not this Friday. - What is the injury status of the Wolfs? I heard the same week they ghosted NV on a JV match they had 45 players in helmets at practice. Maybe Tanka's milk donation is paying off. Regardless, the Wolfs got the best draw of the Sectional, and should be licking their chops for another shot at NV after essentially 2 weeks off. Covington by a few scores - This Friday should not be a problem for the Men of Troy. Pantherz will look to rebound after loss to PH, but Trojans are hot right now. - Covington has the best chance to play spoiler in the Sectional. NV First round at Home. NV playing tough competition this week, Covington not so much. They certainly have the athletes to get it done. Mama Says SO!!
  10. Either of the Anthrop Brothers out of LCC Tyler Meurer from Linton Jack Kiser from Pioneer The running back from Indy Lutheran from 2014-2017
  11. Mama Says He's not wrong! Thin Crust Pepperoni Sausage form Overpass is where it's at Mama Says SO!
  12. Mama Says she had heard NV redid their court. Was hoping to get a chance to see it come bball sectional time. Looks promising in this picture Mama Says So!
  13. Mama Says After gathering some very interesting information from a credible source, the outcome of the Wolfs vs Pantherz game could be decided on whether or not they play on Friday or Saturday. While mama hasn't made up her mind who she likes more in a rain game, I am going to pick the Wolfs in a one possession ball game. Surely a Hall of Famer can figure out how to run the football. And don't call me Shirley! Mama Says SO!
  14. Mama says South Vermillion and Parke Heritage both shelled out 70K for head football coaches that could beat Brian Crabtree.............
  15. Mama Says, NV rolls over FC. - NV is too well coached to let the conference championship slip from their talons. On another note, in a proud football school like Fountain Central, what are the chances of Hall having his job next year? Has FC ever has on 0-10 season? As far back as I could see on John Harrell it looked like they'd at least pulled out 2 wins a year. Falcons by 5 scores, running clock to start the second half South Vermillion over Seeger - SV has played some good ball games this year and their roster is still talented enough to win without Joey Shew. I had heard some rumors that Garzollini might be injured? Anyone have anything solid on that? That would drastically decide the outcome of this game. I'll take the mildcats over Mel Gibson by a score Covington over Tri - Men of Troy have to be firing on all cylinders after a win over the Ramblers. I'd expect them to take an early lead with a running clock in the 2nd half. Wolfs shred the Pantherz - How effective is the Wolf Offense without Anthony Wood? Obviously there are still some very talented play makers on the field, but when you line up 3 stud receivers and 1 mediocre, compared to 4 stud receivers, it certainly makes for an easier job on any defense - Regardless of the Wolf's depth at WR, they will get back on track this week with a dominant win over RP. PH by 6 scores. Senior Night for PH? Attica dominates the Thunderbirds - What the heck is a Rambler? Whatever it is... it will be incredibly dominate in Farmersburg on Friday. After a narrow loss to the Men of Troy, they will come out hot and outplay the Thunderchickens in every facet of the game. Attica by whatever they want
  16. Absolutely!! I was in attendance for the 2013 match up. Lights mysteriously went out near halftime???? Is it true Brian Moore had the lights turned off to shut down NV's momentum?? Regardless... it was a fantastic game, with NV pulling it out in the 4th quarter. I did not attend the 2012 game but I heard all about the rain!
  17. Mildcats cant't be tamed in this one - After some tough losses, Barret pulls ahead of .500 on the season in Week 7. Rather handily if I might add Men of Troy fall in Attica - Attica gets it done after narrow loss to NV. By far the most physical team in the WRC. Expect them to handle Covington easily. How much time does Travis Brown have left in the head coaching gig? My guess is he's about ready to pull out. Teach 6 class periods a day and head home. RP picks up win #3 - Don't see the Thunder Chickens pulling off win #2 even at home. RP looking for back-to-back wins in a long time. Expect them to be prepared. Likely the last win left on their schedule. Brian Moore and the Wolfs falls short in Cayuga. - Until Brian Moore comes up for an answer for the Crabtree/Blank combo, I pick NV. PH certainly has the athletes to get it done, and I think it is Moore's best shot to beat Crabtree, I won't favor PH until it happens. I think this because of how hard NV plays. PH is still unproven in big games. NV had no chance last year and they got it done. Crabtree coached teams have always been more fundamentally sound then Moore and I think that is why he has been successful. Despite this, expect this to be a 1 possession game. Whoever has the ball last wins. No matter who wins this match up, Crabtree gets it done in the sectional. Every time these guys have played, Crabtree's team dominates the second match up. Mama Says So!!
  18. You are correct, but he still didn't stick around. I was referencing getting the AD job back. I would say Moore has his best chance this Friday. I don't believe Moore-coached teams are as fundamentally sound as Crabtree-coached teams but Moore has incredible talent on his roster, and with White back in the starting line up they should be as dangerous as usual. However, Crabtree has a knack for beating teams he's not supposed to. Time will tell Mama Says So!!
  19. A lot of Jr High tams have put up 50 points on Attica. Mama Says So!
  20. Well it's not hard to check Moore's tenure at other places and see he got out before things went south. Lafayette Jeff would be the anomaly, and I heard he only left because they wouldn't put him in the HS building, and he also had a convenient opportunity to slide back into his old gig at Fountain Central. Except he wasted no time getting out again. The only exception would be his 2007 season at Seeger. Yes he went 6-4, but he had a team that easily could have went 9-3, or 10-2. A 2 point loss to eventual State Runner Up Rockville speaks a lot about that roster! Am I stirring the pot, probably Is Mama telling you what;s going to happen, absolutely Mama Says So!!
  21. Mama says, Hall of Fame Head Football Coach Brian Moore will not be at Parke Heritage in the coming years. He is not the kind of coach who will stick around for a losing season. He wouldn't stick around for a 6-4 season according to mama... Sure, the Youth League Wolfs will get better as they play more, but according to mama there was a complete lack of football know-how and the Falcons dominated them on Saturday in ever facet of the game at every level. The only positive for the Wolf program in the coming years? After back-to-back winning seasons, with the chance for real hardware this year, the head coach pool that applies at Parke Heritage in December-February will certainly not be small. Schelsky will certainly have a plethora of candidates to sort through! Long story short, crap is about to hit the fan in Rockville! Mama Says So!!
  22. Absolutely! 17 kids on his roster in 2018 and in the Sectional Championship. Lost to State Runner-Up North Vermillion. I heard rumors that they didn't even have summer weights this off-season and he is still 3-1 with the only loss a 20 point L vs Parke Heritage(Their closest game thus far). You can quote a weak conference schedule, but the competition in the WRC the last 4 years is as good as I've ever seen it, regardless of what the scoreboards have said, and Ryan Good is the most Underrated coach in the Wabash Valley by far!
