The truth telling lies in the timing. IU having its best run in school history and digging up a two year old story (a title which has been validated by the NCAA) is peak little brother nonsense. 136 schools in FBS and the IU fans throwing shade with chubbies because they just won the biggest game in their program’s history. Your agenda is pretty damn obvious. I don’t go to CNN for conservative news…I don’t go to Fox for liberal news…and I don’t go to an INDIANA HIGH SCHOOL message board echo chamber expecting folks to defend MICHIGAN. Never been much of a follower. Heading to bed early tonight like this…
-
Don’t you play for a trophy against those two? The balls on IU fans to trash talk ANYBODY is hysterical.
-
Not even on the schedule this year but living rent free… Trash talk Purdue, MSU and Illinois… Your “rivals.”

1. Lost 17 players to the draft/UFA after the title, including their QB who announced THE LAST WEEK OF JANUARY so they had no portal options at the most important position on the field. 2. Defeated Ohio State and Alabama AGAIN without the supposed "sign stealer" on staff. 3. You are puposefully being disingenuous with your IU "recruiting ranking" as they signed one of the top 5 quarterbacks in the portal. Having a 22 year old experienced guy at the most important position on the field, is kind of important. Why can't you just celebrate Indiana's success independent of Michigan? Do you really think its a flex that IU is better than Michigan in 2025? Strange times for "IU football fans."

"Hammers", lol. Honestly didn't know SI still existed... I was told vacated wins, postseason bans and other sanctions were all but guaranteed. Seems it was a Playskool hammer. Still avoiding the competitive advantage it supposedly provided. The messageboard sleuths seem to know more than the committe on infractions/NCAA huh?
-
TWO in a row against Ohio State AND Bama WITHOUT Stallions...lol. Explain that. I'm sleeping like a baby by the way.

Don't listen to my defense...I provided the NCAA (you know, the only ones that actually matter in this conversation) link above. You are just repeating boring, trite talking points. Can you tell me what strategic advantage this "massive well-orchestrated cheating scandal" provided? The NCAA sure as hell couldn't. Squeaky clean. Deal with it.

Factual statement: The preseason Vegas O/U on Michigan was 8.5. If national championships are the standard then I guess your "mighty have fallen" statement is accurate. They are currently sitting at 4-2 and will be favored in 5 of their last 6 games. My team has a lot of flaws but I am not jumping off of a bridge. No rational fan is giving a head coach less than 3 years unless bowl ineligibility becomes a possibility. If Michigan navigates these next 5 games as expected (once again Washington is no gimme) they will enter Thanksgiving weekend at 9-2 with everything to play for. They could very well end up anywhere from 8-4 to 10-2, but I am stuck on 9-3. A bit of a disappointment but not all than unexpected. And you can call it what you want but this is obviously personal for you. Otherwise, why pinpoint Michigan? Notre Dame, Clemson, Texas, Penn State and Florida State are all vastly underachieving based on preseason expectations. But you chose the winningest program in college football history to throw shade upon.

Location, location, location. Especially in college and especially for an 18 year old QB (just turned 18 6 weeks ago actually)... Big Ten teams traveling to the west coast historically have poor records, though IU and OSU (clearly the best two teams in the B10) have bucked that trend thus far. If they lose this weekend, I'll be concerned. Washington is no gimme. And LOL, at poo pooing having a starting QB with 6,000 career passing yards and nearly 50 career TD passes. Why do you hate Michigan so much? Why are they living rent free in your head? Is it their 58-11 all-time record vs IU? Has Notre Dame fallen? Same record...haven't won a natty since I was in elementary school. Your agenda is...interesting.

1.5 years of Moore. QB is 18 years old. Lost @ Oklahoma and USC...two tough enviornments. Now do Texas, Penn State, Clemson and Florida State. This was always a developmental year for Michigan. Still calling 9-3. Moore gets 3 years...as any coach should.

We all can't have PURDUE as our mail rival.

Keep crying. https://www.espn.com/college-football/story/_/id/39282077/ncaa-president-says-michigan-earned-football-national-title-fair-square Wanna place another OSU/UM bet? You're due to win one of them... Still awaiting that reckoning you've been promising since 2021.

Apparently the NCAA disagreed. Where was that supposed "hammer" I kept hearing about? Back to my other point, IU is 500 wins and 12 national titles behind Michigan. Gonna be a long road before I take what any Hoosier fan (spoiler: most of you didn't know IU HAD a football team prior to 2024) has to say seriously. Set your goals high though, seriously.

You're reaching here...a lot. -
Eh, let’s allow things to play out. 9-3 still absolutely on the table. IU wins one damn road game and suddenly it’s “fans” wanna brazenly talk reckless, lol.

Temp’s Top 25 (After Week 8)
temptation replied to temptation's topic in The Indiana High School Football Forum
Is it really biased if the data bears it out as the truth? Its not in the least bit controversial to state that the best high school football in Indiana is played within 25 miles of Monument Circle. -

You often praise my rankings in one breath yet then accuse me of Indy bias in the next. -
Temp’s Top 25 (After Week 8)

1. I also have Crown Point in the top 10. 2. I also have Dwenger as a fringe top 25 team. 3. I have Carroll ranked 12th this week. What are we even arguing about here? -
Temp’s Top 25 (After Week 8)

Love the banter but for someone who frequently calls out “Indy bias” you sure do tend to prop up Fort Wayne area teams with every breath. The Temp might be picking Dwenger to make a deep run… -

So not ready for the best that either 4A or 5A has to offer. Glad we agree. -

"Good team, but not ready for the best 6A has to offer." And I replied with the fact that I don't think they'd be ready for the best 5A/4A has to offer either. -
