Really happy I got to go- got to see my nephew play in his first varsity game!

Stars going to lose 26-7
Interesting game tonight
I will say that Seymour outplayed BNL
This is an extremely young team in Bedford and have high expectations for them the next two years.
IF they dedicate themselves in the weight room -
BNL takes 2nd half kickoff for a TD
Seymour responds with a TD
20-7 after 3
-
Seymour leads 13-0 at the half
-
Anyone know the officiating crew at BNL tonight. Hopefully no one connected here.
They are having a HORRIFIC night. BOTH WAYS!
AWFUL
-
Stars can’t stop the run
Stars can’t stop the pass
One possession for BNL that resulted in a fumble
Seymour leads 13-0 after 1
All in all about the worst first quarter I’ve ever seen BNL play.

My daughter had 2 tickets to the East game tonight and had something come up. First game I've been to this year (after not missing a home game for the last 8 years)
Glad you get to go. What an absolutely beautiful night for football. I’ll be at BNL and Seymour.

New Albany at Columbus East
Seymour at Bedford NL

I went to High School in the South and we used Hail to the Victors.
BNL’s although it is a variation of Give my Regards to Broadway is unique and I listened to Cornell’s on Apple Music and it sounded nothing like either the Broadway or BNL version.
Copyright infringement can be a very serious infraction even for a church to use music and not pay a fee and give proper credit on the screen, in a book etc. -

Ohio State offered Floyd Central offensive lineman Zenuae Michalski today
And here is hoping with offers like that he doesn’t end up a Buckeye and goes elsewhere 😂
Major kudos to the young man that is just awesome!

Floyd Central and New Albany are pretty good schools. I don’t think I would send my kids to Jeffersonville. Silver Creek is a really good school too with really nice facilities. I really wish they could join the HHC because they are pretty similar to FC just with less students.
We should have a big debate on here about Silver Creek coming to the HHC and Madison leaving. That’d be fun 😂

It’s funny cuz people around here talk about how Floyd is up to about 2000 kids. Probably a little less. But I’m like, “have y’all seen the schools up North?“ Lol.
I’m sure that area is really growing and my even more so as people do what they can to get out of Louisville. With a significant jump you may end up larger than Jeffersonville in 6A. I know if I lived in that area my kids would attend Floyd.

And still not as big as Carmel or Warren Central 😬

They combined with Elkhart Central to combine Elkhart High.. its a combination of 2 5A schools into 1 6A mega... they have def got something going in there direction. Good looking football team.
That’s right I remember now that there was a consolidation. That city needs that. Good to hear.

I’m not a native Hoosier but I don’t recall Elkhart being a football power. I know Concord back in the day was a basketball power. Where did this team from? I don’t follow 6A really at all but to come to East and perform as you have describe seems impressive.

No. Coach McDonald was analyzing the team and not using “coach speak.” Actually I said, “if FC could upset Elder.” Didn’t say they would compete. I’ve been watching Football over here for 30 years and this is the best offense I’ve ever seen at Floyd Central. They can throw the ball all around the field. Our defense is ok. But I guess we will find out a lot more about these guys next week. It seems you are still upset about last season. When you basically guaranteed that BNL was going to beat FC in the Sectional, only to get ran over in Weigleb Stadium. I’ve been pretty complimentary of BNL over the years though.
I’m not a bit upset
You are just as entertaining as hell and it cracks me up
I don’t remember guaranteeing anything but I remember you letting the thread know that the rain and wind in the regular season finale was only something that FC had to deal with.

Congratulations so very glad you got to go and this thread is acting up either that or I’m drunk posting and I don’t even drink 😬
I’m guessing there will be a coach or two that will know their names after tonight.
