  1. do you want the mess that is AB or Bell for that matter?    Were they a mess in Pittsburgh as their culture is a mess?

I would NOT touch Brown in any capacity

Bell I could see as he was making a point on the business side of things, other than the weed suspension, he hasn't been near the distraction as Brown is.

If you trust your draft process, and you have that sort of draft capital, I say save the money and keep building, so when its time to resign these picks:  Nelson, Leonard, et al you can.   Maybe extend TY.  He has earned it

  2. loved how Nagy today made it perfectly clear that he did not appreciate Parkey going on the TODAY show on Friday, just 5 days after he failed to do his job

Watching over and over again, the TIpped ball is what made it the upright, if he wasn't tipped that bad boy was sailing wide left

Agree Coach Handley:   Lots to look forward to still:  Pagano just doesn't need to screw it up:   Fangio was SO good at adjusting on the fly .   Big shoes to fill

  3. Kickers man:    Though it was "tipped" and not one play defines the game (gotta score more than 1 time in playoffs) a 12 win season and hosting a playoff game far exceeded any and all expectations even from the most optimistic of fans, (which is me)

Enter Chuck Pagano for Fangio who took the Denver HC job.

Love to hear from the Colts fans, what I have gathered thus far, very well respected, doesn't hold players accountable as a HC, he will be taking over a VERY talented Defensive Squad,  hope he still has the chops.

Draft 2019:  First pick is in 3rd round.

  4. Highlights:

    • Brohm, as predicted, stayed true to his word and remained at Purdue:  Huge Win for Boilermakers
    • with Coach staying, he was able to keep intake arguably the best recruiting class put together by a Purdue Staff, led by Bell, Karlaftis as 2 in state STUDS and handful of other 4 star gems.
    • Recruiting office led by Coach Hodges (underrated aspect of the staff) has already pushed out many great offers to the Nations best 2020 players, with 20k GOLD Theme,  LOVE IT
    • looks like OL will be a HUGE emphasis in this class, Beech Grove's Fryar on top of many boards lists.

Open up in 2019 on the road to Nevada then home opener vs what will be a easy sell out of Ross Ade with TCU coming to town

  5. WL will be far from Bare:  They do have to replace a boat load on Defense, but they still have a good core back as well.  Offensively, Kyle Adams will continue to make guys around him better, return 3 real good WR,  Truit, Yanni (if they use him) and Blankman

RCHS:  will have a good core back from 2 years worth of starting and hopefully continue growth from our freshman class into sophomore years.   As my friend says WORK WINS

LCC:  year 2 of the new system, I see more improvement forthcoming with soon to be SOPH slinger behind center

TL:  Love Coach Mannering's teams, gritty, fundamentally sound:   I think they played a ton of young guys on Defense last year.

BC:  I like Coach Hammons, hopefully he continues to get guys out of the hallways and onto the field

Tipton:  I defer to @Fballfan15 but I believe he has stated they will be alright, but in a few years another state contender:  I saw KJ has an opportunity at u Indy

Western:  Big, Physical group, lose some good LB, but I think Gifford, RB is back

Cass:  Loaded with a very talented SR class upcoming, lose a couple of OL, but they can beat you in RPO spread or traditional WingT

HH:  Transition year last year, but they had lots of numbers:   Got hit HARD by injury bug last year

Northwestern:  Had turmoil with lots of HC movement over the last few years, Coach Robison is quality coach and guy, see if that stability equates to more successful year.

  6. IHSAA sent this out this morning

Will the true heart of the GID,  the Out Of Bounds forum, which was championed by the late, great Tim Adams, be created soon?   There is so much to talk about and discuss.

Just when I thought I validated an IMPOSTER, you have eased my concerns:  😀

yes, the OOB will be built.   Its still on the list of items for @DK_Barons to build, which he has done a tremendous job.

Again want to say thanks to @77Jimmie for providing the in house server for our community.  Our last one I believe was housed by 3rd party in San Diego!!

as the late great Jim Nabors once sang so gracefully:
