Let's hear what places your area has to offer before or after a Friday night. I'm guessing some will say the following for the Decatur/Monroe area: West End, Galley, & Back 40.
Closer to Heritage I would go to nine mile.

Whatever on your post. Take it somewhere else though. This thread is about turf and not turf.
Ignore it if you can't handle the truth. I will always respond when someone cheap shots my school.

You mean 25% grass 75% dirt/mud!
It would be a lot better if we could siphon money off the tax payers like the government schools.

Luers loses a lot off good talent including Knapke and Presley, if they win 2a I'll be shocked.

Last fall a Luers fan sounded confident that Luers would get field turf this year. No other Luers people I've talked to have heard anything about it.

I have to agree with ya. I skip the Luers and South Side games each year when they are there. I love being up high and elbow room.
Good stay away.

I hope they didn't use Luers as a model. If they did, I hope they added 1500 seats or better. I would be concerned with hosting big games against Luers, Snider, Homestead, and Carroll. Do Luers, and maybe Dwenger, leave a lot of money on the table due to lack of seating? I skip the Snider/Luers game whenever it is away. Their visitor side holds maybe 500 people.
Luersfield was built by Luers people without tax money to which Luers parents contribute. I guess it is easy to cheap shot someone's stadium when you don't have one of your own. I'm sure a lot of Luers people would like to have a Texas high school like stadium but are proud we have played our home games at our own dump since 1980 than play in someone else's stadium.

They dropped back down because of enrollment. Luers did well in 3A no reason to say they didn't do anything.
Concordia won't be disappointed.

My best friends stepson goes to Northrop and says the urine incident is absolutely true. He also showed me a video he personally took of a brawl in the restroom that would make the MMA proud. He said just another day at Northrop.

What about City public schools who recruit will they be subject to multipliers or is it just Catholic and private schools? If so Parents who send their kids to p/p's should have their tax money funneled to the schools their kids go to.

Who will Luers play that will "better" help them prepare for 3a or 2a tournament?

Clark Chambers was track coach at Huntington North and assistant football coach at Snider.

We've been hearing the same thing about Homestead for a minimum of 2 years and up to 4 when they entered the SAC. Tremendous offensive talent and individual defensive talent.
I live in the middle of Homestead country and I've heard the same thing from Homestead fans for 20 years. Meanwhile Carroll another suburban school has surpassed Homestead in my opinion.

They are building a stadium on campus I hear.
It's official they will spend 2 million on the stadium with 2500 seats on the home side and 500 seats on the visitors side. They hope to have it complete before the start of next season.

I'd bet the highest paid pro athlete out of Luers right now is Purple Nurple's progeny. It'd be nice to have a fundraiser, I'll give a portion. 🙂
He only makes 9 million a year.

The Bishop of a diocese has the final say in all church matters and church property.
Then the Bishop must have approved Dwenger's field turf pratice field.
