  1. I guess only time will tell. Hopefully he’s with us for a while and can mentor a young coach to take over when he is finished. Since 1978 Salem has had 5 coaches with Glesing being the 6th. Jim Ralston 78-98 Brian Motsinger 99-10 Mo Moriarty 11-12 RJ Hartsfield 12-19 Blair Thompson 20-22
  2. I really don’t know anything about him or his coaching philosophies. It sounds like he has had some success in rebuilding some programs.
  3. Brian Glesing hired as the coach at Salem.
  4. News out of Salem this evening: Good luck to Coach Thompson!
  5. Really looking forward to the season starting!!! I wasn’t able to go to any scrimmages last night. If you were able to go to any, what were your thoughts? Good luck to all!!! Stay healthy and hungry!!! It’s FOOTBALL season!!!!
  6. Well, that was one of the craziest high school football games I’ve seen!!! I was fortunate enough to sit by GS’s statisticians (not enough room in the press box for them). Two of the nicest guys and great knowledge of all sports in southern IN. Hats off to Gibson Southern on the win. Very classy program, hard nosed kids. Our kids competed and left everything out on the field. After the game ended, the teams joined together in prayer led by a GS player...and the my friends is what it’s ALL ABOUT!! Good luck to the Titans the rest of the tournament.
  7. Thanks for the information. I think the game should be pretty evenly matched. I am so impressed with the Senators “next guy up” mentality. To lose that much talent at a small school and continue to dominate is very impressive.
  8. Congratulations to the Senators on winning the PLAC. My younger cousin Mason Armstrong scored 5 touchdowns last night. I was wondering what the WW record was for TD’s in a game. I’m already looking forward to the SALEM/WW game...should be a great game!!
  9. I didn’t realize there were multiple options for the scrimmage. Can someone explain each option? Salem/Madison have done the same thing since the scrimmage’s were started. Thanks.
  10. Sitting here flipping between preseason NFL games....BLACK/GOLD scrimmage tomorrow night...This is seriously the BEST time of the year!!!
  11. Definitely looking forward to FRIDAY NIGHTS and the 2019 FOOTBALL SEASON!!! I know the Lions will have to replace the left side of the O Line, but return everyone else on the offensive side of the ball. Defensively the Lions should be stout, although we will have to replace stud middle linebacker Colin McCartney...no easy task! We have several young kids ready to step up and get some varsity minutes. I think it could be an exciting year for SHS!! I’m also looking forward to keeping up with WW this year...they should have a great season as well!! I hope my young cousin, Mason Armstrong has a tremendous senior season for the Senators!!
