It is my understanding that the top part will be utilized by our student ran broadcast, Salem Lions News Network. They used to have to set up in the bleachers, so this is going to be an awesome upgrade for them. The tennis courts have been replaced. I’m sure some other things have been done as well, but I’m not certain as to what.

I always thought that the team on the bottom of the bracket would be the home team. It appears that I am wrong about this as I’ve been told Salem will be traveling to Tell City. Can anyone explain how the brackets work for this old man. Thanks.

Work has begun on the Salem field. My understanding is it will be completed in the middle of July. The press box will be done after the season.

I guess only time will tell. Hopefully he’s with us for a while and can mentor a young coach to take over when he is finished. Since 1978 Salem has had 5 coaches with Glesing being the 6th. Jim Ralston 78-98 Brian Motsinger 99-10 Mo Moriarty 11-12 RJ Hartsfield 12-19 Blair Thompson 20-22

I really don’t know anything about him or his coaching philosophies. It sounds like he has had some success in rebuilding some programs.
