That's the thing people seem to miss with the injuries. Sure, Stevens is really good but it's the line that makes them special. Most 1A and 2A schools don't have 8 linemen like that. I only dressed 7 linemen last night. I kept telling my kids this week it doesn't matter who the running back is, if you don't get penetration up front I could run wild on you. I probably could too in 5 yards bursts.

I feel like you are over thinking this. WW is the best team in the PLAC and it's not close. They will go undefeated, win the conference, and sectional. I've not looked ahead to see who they could play in the regional so I won't comment on that.

The problem I have with this solution is that you used common sense to come up with it. This should never be tolerated when making decisions that affect lots of young people.

I don't know if anyone here follows North Harrison consistently. This is a quote from Coach WIlliamson following last Friday's game. "I knew they would be good. They've got a lot of returning starters. They've got enough athletes, good athletes. They're two platoons. Most of their guys go one way. They wore us down a little. We had four players going both ways. That was a factor. They're just pretty good right now. Hats off to them." Does North Harrison typically have 2 platoons? 4 two-way starters doesn't seem like a lot for a 3A school. But again, I don't know what they've been used to.

I'm not excited at all. We play them next Friday. I don't coach there. I'm just aware of what teams around me have.

No Caleb Murphy of WW is committed to IU. Bobby Stevens is the RB at WW. He will probably rush for 2,000 yards this season.

Actually, I think the PC QB is really good so not knocking him. If there were a conference pre-season offensive player of the year, It's Bobby Stevens. And I don't really think it's close.

I'm going to say since WW has a Big Ten commit on their roster, they have the best player in the conference.

Travis Nolting at Greenfield-Central is a Wishbone man.

So far everyone who has picked games has Perry Central over Tell City. I read on the PAC Week 1 stream that Tell City is the sleeper of the PAC and will finish 3rd or 4th in the conference. Is this conference bias or is Perry Central and Tell City both really good but we think Perry just a little better?

There are specific rules as to how many consecutive plays an individual player can play. So if a player plays 40 plays, he probably participated in too many consecutive plays. However, I'm not sure how many small schools can actually adhere to that rule without putting kids on the field that might not be prepared to play at that speed or even protect themselves

Pike Central's coach told me yesterday he thought he would end up with 30 kids. I'm not sure what they normally have but hopefully this will keep DT from circling Petersburg.
