New sectional realignments should be released in a week or 2. Last year’s sectionals came out around April 30th.

Haven’t heard much of the freshman group other than they are good. I do know they had a couple of playmakers, but my knowledge on them is limited. Someone did mention to me I shouldn’t be surprised if there are sophomores starting this season back in 2024.

Good chance it will happen, but for know, someone will to go undefeated somehow.

Yea, I was pretty surprised when I saw that. Replacing Fisher, Ellspermann and Broshears will be a mighty task.

His projections are mainly dependent off the prior season for his algorithm for his preseason stuff. Calpreps is a tad bit better since they plug in returning production (if coaches submit that info). But yes, a very good conversation starter while we wait for the scrimmages, haha.

Looks like Massey Ratings dropped his preseason projections this morning: 1. Memorial 9-0 2. Castle 8-1 3. Reitz 7-2 4. Mater Dei 6-3 5. Jasper 5-4 6. North 4-5 7. Lincoln 3-6 8. Harrison 2-7 9. Central 1-8 10. Bosse 0-9 His preseason are pretty weighted from the prior season’s performance from what I understand. I believe it’s for his algorithm to start with once the season begins.

I think that’s part of the plan, the article mentioned bleachers on the home side and I saw a comment saying handrails are being added. And renovations to the press box. That’s all I know for know about it, @TransplantedPanther probably has more info on the plans.

North is getting new North at the end of next month after graduation.

I didn’t hear much other than it was a small list. But, I’m glad that Nero is moving up and hoping he has success with North. Their defense will be good this year, since they return like 7 or 8 starters.

100% predictive ratings, it will probably be a bit better in August if Coaches fill it out. They also do not have the schedules yet either, so I’m assuming these were posted just a few days ago.

Yes, GS is still in 3A

Should be one of the favorites coming from the North, I believe they return a good amount of starters. 3A South has multiple teams that could make a run.

They return their superstar Quarterback and D1 receiver, I don’t know who else returns for them. But they should be pretty good again. Wouldn’t be surprised to see them fight it with Reitz sometime in Sectional 24 (Assuming that’s the sectional they are in). It should be another good year for football down here.
