Boonville had a good amount of roster turnover from graduating a lot of seniors from last year, but managed to get a 5-4 record. One of the best teams in 4A and State, Reitz achieved B2B SIAC titles and is looking to avenge last year's loss against Boonville and make a deep run in the postseason. As the Panthers are balanced on the offense and defense.

Mater Dei leads the all-time series, 8-4, and has won 4 straight against the Marksmen. Tell City is looking to beat Mater Dei for the first time since 1992. Both of these teams have seen different directions, as MD has had a down with a record of 2-7, but has been in competitive games with some of the top-level teams in the SIAC. Tell City did take a couple of punches in the face in their conference division. However, Tell City is looking to beat the defending 2A State Champions right off the back, while the Wildcats are hoping for a postseason push.
