  1. Nice run by Jasper’s Levin, Jasper with a lot of breathing room and a first down
  2. Thank you for cheering for the Tigers! Hard count fails on Jasper Memorial will punt on the Jasper 43
  3. Last year had a very late running clock in the 4Q in the sectional championship. I think there was like 3-4 minutes left in the game after the 5th TD.
  4. Castle (6-3) (6-3 SIAC) Offense: 35.7 PPG Total Yards: 341.3 YPG Passing: 138.8 YPG/ 60.7 CP%/ 15.23 YPC Rushing: 202.6 YPG/ 6.16 YPC Defense: 21.6 PPG Total Yards: 356.3 YPG Passing: 125.4 YPG/ 61.5 CP%/ 11.76 YPC Rushing: 230.9 YPG/ 6.22 YPC New Albany (2-7) (2-4 HHC) Offense: 13.6 PPG Total Yards: 212.1 YPG Passing: 106.9 YPG/ 39.6 CP%/ 16.3 YPC Rushing: 105.2 YPG/ 3.5 YPC Defense: 40.1 PPG Total Yards: 400.4 YPG Passing: 201.4 YPG/ 62.9 CP%/ 14.93 YPC Rushing: 199.0 YPG/ 6.13 YPC Preview Castle travels on over to New Albany to face the New Albany Bulldogs. Castle comes into this sectional as the defending sectional champion with a high-powered offense. New Albany has struggled quite a bit this season on both sides of the ball but did snag a win over Jennings County earlier in the season. Castle has dominated this entire series since 1983 going 19-5 against the Bulldogs.
  5. North (7-3) (6-3 SIAC) Offense: 31.3 PPG Total Yards: 345.8 YPG Passing: 139.3 YPG/ 53.9 CP%/ 14.09 YPC Rushing: 206.4 YPG/ 5.88 YPC Defense: 13.1 PPG Total Yards: 212.7 YPG Passing: 113.6 YPG/ 51.9 CP%/ 9.55 YPC Rushing: 99.1 YPG/ 3.58 YPC Floyd Central (8-1) (6-0 HHC) Offense: 34.7 PPG Total Yards: 368.8 YPG Passing: 162.6 YPG/ 59.5 CP%/ 16.6 YPC Rushing: 206.2 YPG/ 6.7 YPC Defense: 23.4 PPG Total Yards: 280.4 YPG Passing: 184.8 YPG/ 55.5 CP%/ 13.63 YPC Rushing: 95.7 YPG/ 4.76 YPC Preview North is having their best season in a very long time going 6-3 on the season and placing in a 5-way tie for 2nd place in the SIAC. North also had the biggest trenches in the SIAC having an OL average of around 6'3 300 pounds before the season. They also have one of the better running attacks in the SIAC. Floyd Central is also having a very good season going 8-1 on the year and winning the Hoosier Hills Conference outright. FC also has a pretty explosive offense and a defense that has been improving since Week 4. This will be the first matchup between these 2 schools in over 17 years. North is looking for their first win over FC since 1992.
  6. Memorial (7-3) (6-3 SIAC) Offense: 22.7 PPG Total Yards: 260.6 YPG Passing: 158.3 YPG/ 58.6 CP%/ 12.18 YPC Rushing: 102.3 YPG/ 3.65 YPC Defense: 11.7 PPG Total Yards: 222.0 YPG Passing: 95.4 YPG/ 47.0 CP%/ 13.63 YPC Rushing: 126.6 YPG/ 4.15 YPC Jasper (7-3) (6-3 SIAC) Offense: 31.0 PPG Total Yards: 315.1 YPG Passing: 28.1 YPG/ 38.6 CP%/ 14.88 YPC Rushing: 289.8 YPG/ 6.87 YPC Defense: 20.6 PPG Total Yards: 295.6 YPG Passing: 154.2 YPG/ 56.0 CP%/ 12.64 YPC Rushing: 141.4 YPG/ 5.01 YPC Preview No matter what time of year it is, this game is always fun to tune into. Both teams trade punches each and every season and the teams are way different in the postseason. Memorial started off the year hot but has struggled a bit losing their QB1 after Week 4, and has gone through 3 different quarterbacks in the last 6 weeks. Jasper, on the other hand, has been a very hot team so far winning 6 of their last 7 games. And has scored multiple 30+ points in most of their games. Memorial did beat Jasper, 30-13, but these 2 teams are a lot different since Week 1.
  7. Bedford North Lawrence (7-3) (5-1 HHC) Offense: 33.0 PPG Total Yards: 319.5 YPG Passing: 120.3 YPG/ 44.8 CP%/ 15.4 YPC Rushing: 199.2 YPG/ 6.6 YPC Defense: 17.4 PPG Total yards: 325.9 YPG Passing: 163.4 YPG/ 51.8 CP%/ 13.61 YPC Rushing: 141.6 YPG/ 4.01 YPC *2 games not included in D stats Reitz (10-0) (9-1 SIAC) Offense: 34.7 Total Yards: 362.6 YPG Passing: 167.0 YPG/ 65.0 CP%/ 14.52 YPG Rushing: 195.6 YPG/ 5.64 YPC Defense: 7.5 YPG Total Yards: 202.9 YPG Passing: 105.6 YPG/ 42.8 CP%/ 13.2 YPC Rushing: 97.3 YPG/ 3.01 YPC Preview Coming off back-to-back undefeated SIAC champions, Reitz is looking to make a statement in the postseason after last year’s early exit. Which they avenged their loss last year by beating Boonville, 24-0. Reitz is looking for their first sectional title since 2016 and will head up to Bedford to face the BNL Stars. Speaking of BNL, they are the newcomer to this sectional after they were redrawn before the season began. But for the Stars, they are having a successful season so far and were a few plays away from being potentially undefeated. This will be an interesting matchup between the two teams. BNL is looking for their first win ever against the Panthers, as Reitz leads the series 4-0.
  8. Vincennes Lincoln (7-3) (6-3 SIAC) Offense: 27.3 PPG Total Yards: 312.5 YPG Passing: 93.6 YPG/ 56.5 CP%/ 13.37 YPC Rushing: 218.9 YPG/ 6.69 YPC Defense: 14.4 PPG Total Yards: 294.6 YPG Passing: 122.2 YPG/ 54.5 CP%/ 10.62 YPC Rushing: 172.1 YPG/ 5.12 YPC Pike Central (2-8) (1-5 PAC-Small) Offense: 12.1 PPG Total Yards: 187.2 YPG Passing: 108.6 YPG/ 55.5 CP%/ 12.6 YPC Rushing: 78.6 YPG/ 3.5 YPC Defense: 40.3 PPG Total Yards: 383.2 YPG Passing: 93.9 YPG/ 61.7 CP%/ 12.69 YPC Rushing: 289.3 YPG/ 10.05 YPC Preview With the return of their QB, the Alices cruised their way shutting out Owen Valley, 54-0 and advancing on in their sectional. As the Alices are eyeing a rematch against Gibson Southern in the championship. While having their best season yet in the SIAC, on the other side of the ball Pike Central got a gritty win over Princeton in the first round, but has struggled throughout the season. Pike Central heads SR-61 to face the Alices.
  9. Mater Dei (3-7) (3-7 SIAC) Offense: 19.3 PPG Total yards: 253.8 YPG Passing: 108.4 YPG/ 53.5 CP%/ 10.45 YPC Rushing: 145.4 YPG/ 4.2 YPC *2 Games not included in O stats Defense: 26 PPG Total yards: 327 YPG Passing: 140.6 YPG/ 60.1 CP%/ 15.8 YPC Rushing: 186.4 YPG/ 5.84 YPC North Posey (9-1) (6-0 PAC-Small) Offense: 40.7 PPG Total Yards: 356.3 YPG Passing: 78.6 YPG/ 61.2 CP%/ 19.2 YPC Rushing: 277.7 YPG/ 8.2 YPC Defense: 7.4 PPG Total Yards: 154.5 YPG Passing: 39 YPG/ 45.6 CP%/ 8.7 YPC Rushing: 115.5 YPG/ 3.71 YPC *2 games not included in D stats Preview Knocking off Tell City last week, Mater Dei feels a little rejuvenated after a big win to start the postseason. However, the Wildcats will face their toughest opponent yet in the sectional against North Posey. As the Vikings are hoping to beat the Wildcats at the Reitz Bowl and for the first time ever in school history. Due to Mater Dei leading the all-time series 18-0 since the 1980s. Should be quite an interesting matchup on Friday!

  12. VL at GS is going to be a great matchup if it happens
  13. Final season stats will be posted whenever the final SIAC team has their season finished
  14. Probably since MD has a SOS of 1672 compared to NP’s 7426 on his site. I’ve always felt Massey has SIAC teams being heavy favorites early on in the sectional games.
  15. Massey Ratings: Castle at New Albany (-36), 99% chance of victory for the Knights North (-23) at Floyd Central, 88% chance of victory for the Huskies Reitz (-30) at BNL, 98% chance of victory for the Panthers Memorial at Jasper (-6), 61% chance of victory for the Cats Pike Central at VL (-46), 100% chance of victory for the Alices North Posey at Mater Dei (-15), 81% chance of victory for the Cats
  16. Maybe Northington/Davis Jr? #1 rusher is Wagner in the City, those are the other 2 I can think of that has put up decent numbers
