  1. I only post the SIAC teams that are in Poll, but I can tell you that Linton is having a great season so far
  2. He was a beast last Friday and I didn’t expect it at all.
  3. AP poll 5A: 12. Castle 4A: 4. Jasper 11. Memorial 2A: 6. Mater Dei
  4. Ellspermann is great player, runs pretty tough, but his accuracy has been declining which I’m concerned. To be fair, some of his recent incompletions have been dropped passes, so his %rate is most likely deflated due to those dropped passes. On Fisher’s case, he needs just needs to build up more against backups for his freshman year, but should progress his sophomore year. Ellspermann will still continue to be QB1, and these take 3/4 games should help him develop further before facing Reitz/Castle
  5. Good point, probably going to be in the 4Q in actuality
  6. All I know about the Jasper-MD game is that the Wildcats will win it
  7. I can see him starting 2nd half, hopefully Ellspermann has a great 1H to boost his confidence up
  8. Got it, I was honestly just thinking that Fisher was just going to play against Harrison and let Ellspermann take a break for a week
  9. Coaches Poll 5A: 10. Castle 4A: 5. Jasper 11. Memorial 2A: 5. Mater Dei I thought he looked good against Central in the 4Q, had a nice 20 yard gain, unless you are stating there might be a QB change
  10. Especially after losing Memorial after climbing back from being down 22 points. MD is hungry for a victory, going to be a good one
  11. Is this coaches poll?
  12. Short summary picks Ill take Castle over VL by 30, could see VL taking an early defensive stand, but will wear out throughout the game I’ll take North over Bosse by 35, North is on fire right now, while the Bulldogs are spiraling downward Memorial over Harrison by a lot, Starters will probably be out sometime during 3Q, it’s also Homecoming Week for the Tigers I’ll take Reitz in this one by at least 17, Central’s demises continues, while Reitz is still figuring out their potential I think Mater Dei and Jasper will go down to the last wire. Mater Dei will improve their running D, but I think Jasper pulls off a close victory at the Bowl by 7
  13. Jasper is going to be a good team in the Sectional, so S24 is going to be a sectional to watch with Jasper, Memorial, Northview, and potentially Reitz
  14. Our rushing attack has definitely improved since last year. Went up and down all night against an really solid Mater Dei rushing D with 2x all state James Ralph up front in their D-line(He’s really good at DT). I like our new QB, however he is undersized and his accuracy is questionable(though some of his incompletions are from dropped passes). But is quick with ball if he sees any holes in defenses. We’ve been getting better each week also, which is nice. Us and Jasper will contend for the S24 sectional title, but it will be interesting after that with Mooresville/ East Central in the Regional. Putting Jasper at #4 is nice a ranking for them too, extremely tough team and I doubted them in Week 1. Going to be a good one against Mater Dei and then Castle 2 weeks later. I will not be surprised if they go undefeated in the SIAC.
  15. Massey rating’s lines Harrison at Memorial (-34), 98% chance of victory for the Tigers Bosse at North (-26), 90% chance of victory for the Huskies Reitz (-1) at Central, 52% chance of victory for the Panthers Castle (-26) at VL, 98% chance of victory for the Panthers Jasper (-7) at Mater Dei, 64% chance of victory for Jasper
  16. Homecoming Week for Memorial
  17. Exactly, they really need to contain Jasper’s FB (forgot his name), or else it’s going to be a bad time in the Bowl and try to stop Weinzapfel+Foley combo. I did think MD’s pass defense was pretty good enough against us. But if Jasper wants to win, I have a strong feeling that they will aim for the sidelines. Since we did really well doing that Friday night. Should be a great game at the Bowl, too bad it won’t be livestreamed
  18. I agree too, Mater Dei will have their hands full all night long with Jasper
  19. Week 4 Positive/negatives Positives -I’m sure it was a party in Vincennes, had a great game against Central to pick up their first win of the season. Defense showed up big time -Jasper is just an elite offensive team, going to be an interesting game against Mater Dei -Castle dominates another opponent, heard Tilly had an extremely good game along with his receivers -North continues to prove themselves, even though I doubted them last night. Brawdy had an big 2H coming off his injury -This Memorial D is tough and strong against a really elite Mater Dei team. Game ball goes to Ray Brodie as he balled out all night long with 250 rushing yards. As well as, Xavier Tyler was underrated last night too. However, there were some questionable mistakes, but the Tigers looked amazing Negatives -Been disappointed with Central so far, I would thought they would at least have 1 or 2 wins by now. But it seems like morale is low for the Bears after being snatched away from their first win last night -Bosse has a lot problems right now in their last 2 games, outscored 14-105, after starting off defensively well -Can’t say much about Harrison right now. -Oh Reitz...another tough game for you guys, literally to the last seconds of the game, and gets harder after that with Castle,Memorial and Rival Mater Dei creeping up -Was debating or not about Mater Dei being here, they had a really good 2H in my opinion. The only negative I would say, is that they need to improve their rushing defense, because Jasper will be a lot harder
  20. I meant to do that, was going back and forth on my previous rankings TYPO 3. Mater Dei 3-1 4. Castle
  21. SIAC power rankings 1. Jasper 4-0 2. Memorial 3-1 3. Castle 3-1 4. Mater Dei 3-1 5. North 2-2 6. Reitz 2-2 7. VL 1-3 8. Bosse 2-2 9. Central 0-4 10. Harrison 0-4
  22. JH lines for Week 5 Castle (-28) at VL Bosse at North (-21) Harrison at Memorial(-21) Reitz (-18) at Central Jasper (-14) at Mater Dei
  23. I wish, was watching the game online, hope the play by play helped for the people who couldn’t watch
  24. Memorial dominated the rushing game tonight, accumulating 355 yards alone in rushing. Lead by Brodie(218) and Tyler(113)
  25. I agree too, had some costly decisions. But did also have some great plays too, like his rushing TD
