How bout this scenario
WL on the road to HH, and they win
Guerin Catholic beats Yorktown:
WL would then travel to Guerin for round 2
Chatard on road, beats Brebeuf
North Mont on the road beats Crawfordsville
Chatard would then travel to North Mont for round 2
WL beats Guerin and Chatard beats North Mont......
Both WL and Chatard have equal number of games played on the ROAD, bottom team owns tiebreaker, and there you have it folks, the more unique anomaly, where a team can play and win a sectional title without playing 1 home game.
If that scenario plays out and WL pulls that off, then I say give them the ring and don't worry about playing the rest of the string out.
Of course that is just 1 scenarios and one that may not even come to fruition.
WELL WE ALL KNOW IF THAT HAPPENS THE CHAMPIONSHIP OF SECTIONAL 28 AUTOMATICALLY DEFAULTS TO ROSS-ADE!!!

Their strength of schedule is 283rd out of 320. I would say that’s very weak. Now that doesn’t mean they aren’t a good team. They’ve beat everyone in front of them and pretty easily at that. I think people are a little hesitant on them because of how bad they got whipped by Cass last year after having a great regular season. They get a chance right off the bat to get a great win against a good Lapel team. Lapel will be by far the best team they have played so far.
Let me re-phrase what I said, Its not the weakest schedule. I got what you are saying about last year. I agree that Lapel will be the toughest team they have played. I just think its funny how people jump the gun on who is going to win the sectional when a team Like Eastern hasn't lost a game. They have also beat two teams that Eastbrook has beat in somewhat similar fashion. It just floors me, and with all that being said I wouldnt be suprised if they got beat by Lapel and I wouldn't be surprised if they won this sectional.

Are they that good? have you seen them? i know you have to be decent to be undefeated, but their schedule is weak. I dont know anything about them.
On the Film I have seen the QB has a very good arm and they have 3 WR's that are all 6'3" and they all will go get the ball. QB and WR are all playmakers. I wouldn't be surprised if their post season goes well. Their Defense looks to me like they do not take plays off and all of them fight hard every snap to get to the ball. They have several big bodied young men. They look well caoched and their depth is deep considering almost everywhere its down. The atmosphere their is at an all time high since Joey Price, and Blake Donson.
Commenting on their schedule, I wouldnt say its WEAK but I will say its nothing like the Hoosier Conference. Just have to see how they Do.

Another year, another wasted opportunity to make the regular season have meaning.
Of course, as I had hoped would not happen, Pioneer and Lewis Cass in the opening round. Turnout for a sectional title game would have been much higher if they had met in the Championship.
Simple solution:
Continue with All-in Blind draw AFTER you seed the top 2 (I'd even support Top 3) and put them in opposite sides of the bracket.
Still allows for potential big title game and still allows for your potential 1-2 win teams to meet in the first round and get a feel good win.
I don't understand why this has to be so difficult.

NN made a QB switch during our game and that has been very good for their Offense, NN, typically get much better as the season goes on and they will be a tough out in this sectional, they are playing really well right now.
Andrean is the team to beat still, as stated, great schedule, they have lost players all year with injuries, but they have a very good defense, watching them play Hobart on RSN, that was a slugfest, Andrean just had a lot of uncharacteristic botched QB Center Shotgun snaps and just put them in tough holes throughout the night. I think they win tonight vs a young Lowell team.
Boone Grove has the Pancake Posse https://www.nwitimes.com/sports/high-school/football/football-notes-it-all-starts-up-front-for-boone-grove/article_f6365a82-4fb5-5ae8-b3f9-5e4a4751999c.html
and the most electric player in the sectional in Vann kid who has a little over 800 yards but is GONE once he hits open field, but Wagner from NN and Walsh from Andrean say, HOLD MY PEPSI kids...... as they are 1000+ rushers already in 7 games.
Colin Wagner NN: 1250 yards in 7 games 19 tds
Ryan Walsh Andrean: 1116 yards in 7 games 14 tds
"HOLD MY PEPSI KIDS" 😂🤣

I agree rain could hurt Laville and I could see this one being closer than expected. I don't think Judson will score on Laville though. I'm predicting Laville 21-0 with a late touchdown.
Sometimes when you have so much talent it's hard to figure out how to best use that talent. I think that's where Laville is struggling right now from the offensive side of the ball. IMO, Laville has the best skilled position players in the conference (collectively). Sure you have the explosive offense of Pioneer, but that's centered around 2-3 players. Laville has 5-6 dynamic players that could breakout any night. It's surprising to see how bad they're struggling. Thoughts???
Where I come from It takes all 11 guys. That's why Football is the ultimate team sport!

No I believe CASS will take the opportunity to improve on the areas they are weaker in. CASS has improved tremendously since the beginning of the season. THE LOSS AGAINST WL WAS VERY HUMBLING. I HOPE WL COMES OUT FULL FORCE BECAUSE I KNOW THE KINGS WILL. With all that being said, CASS AND THE COACHES Never look into the future. its week by week and WL isn't in their head, because that's not who they play tomorrow night. HH is the focus right now, and the KINGS are hunting for orange and white.

Hasn’t Cass played WL already?
Yes, but if CASS wins Friday against HH they will play WL again in the Hoosier Conference x-over game WEEK 9.

Honestly, what players and coaches have complained about Pioneer (or any team) or anyone keeping their starters in? You are talking about people on random forums complaining. They are just fans and individuals. The players and coaches for each team know what it takes each week to prepare and what the kids deserve better. I've been on the wrong end of a lot of scores lately, and each team handles their situation differently. It is not my place to judge, it is my place to get MY team to try and compete.
It should be a big week for the HNAC. The Championship, or the front runner for the lead is decided this week.
Winamac has a huge rivalry week. I know the Trojans are hungry after not playing last week. Lets focus on things like this, rather than bringing up old vendettas that dont mean anything.
👏👏

When I Played we had 60-70 guys on the team. If we blew someone out in the old Mid Indiana Conference we would only sub on offensive. We would have the whole Freshmen team out their trying to get a TD. We would never take our starting Defense out. Not saying we wouldn't sub at all on Defense but for the most part number one Defense was always in. A shut out to us was more important than the spread of the scores. We also were rewarded Donuts on Saturday to represent the big 0!
Man I love Donuts...

I understand they are number 1 in polls, I meant in the chat in here. Everyone is hyping up Pioneer (who lost to Cass) and Western Boone (who lost to Western, which CASS just beat). Yet nobody mentions Cass in 2A.

Anything can happen on Friday Nights. Everyone on the digest states their opinions. Everyone knows the KINGS are talented and has weapons. Who cares about the talk. They are number 1 in the polls, and I'm not worried about state championship predictions. I'm worried about this Friday Night. One week at a time my friend.

I cannot speak as to what level everyone's defense is on or whatever. I can tell you that Cass took a very conservative approach to Tipton. They had three line changes that week... the biggest being the center position. They had to replace a two year starter with a junior that just got converted to center that week. He had never taken a snap in a varsity game as lineman let alone snapped in a game.
Let's talk about the in game action. Cass accumulated 100 yards in penalties to Tipton's 0 yards. The timing of penalties were bad. Many were more like 30-40 yard penalties. Twice after big pass plays down field...Cass turns to see a flag dropped at the feet of the QB. Holding penalties that negated the completion. Then dropped back 10 yards to the spot of the foul which then was marked 10 yards from there. Also Cass had an early fumble deep in Tipton's territory. It was not a close 28-7 game.
Not arguing if Cass can hang with WL or not, just saying things are not always as they appear. No one on the outside has the full scoop.
BASTARDIZED BELLY WING-T WAS IN FULL FORCE...
I heard not one single snap in Gun, is that true?
