I know I’m a bit biased but how is nobody talking about Cass in 2A? I have yet to see anybody mention them to rep the North. I see people mention Pioneer (who already lost to Cass) and Western Boone (who lost to a Western team Cass just beat). Like I said, I know I’m biased but they have got talent all over the field, and are currently undefeated but nobody mentions them.

    ITS A CORNFIELD THING...

Cass doesn't have a State Championship, and Cass sees more Tractors than Automobiles on the Highways.

Cass has had a great defense all year long (last week was definitely their biggest challenge). I feel like if they play 4 quarters of defense the way they played in the 3rd vs Western they could keep it competitive.

Regardless, this is T-C's 2nd game they will travel to that's over 140 miles one way as well as their 2nd Saturday game.

Do I think its far? Yes!!

Do I think Its to far? No!!

It builds character for these young men. At least they aren't taking weeks off! Playing on Saturdays is a funky thing not gonna lie. Communities tend to travel light, which doesn't make the atmosphere ideal!

Manning a field is a special thing. Its all about PRIDE, INTEGRITY, and DEDICATION. The first season you have a week off is the start of a domino effect. Then eventually somewhere down the road you have two weeks off.

Next thing you know your kid is playing soccer.

  4. I always am looking for good coverage in this conference. Whether it is a podcast or a station I like to listen to all the surrounding areas. NORTH NEWTON has a new podcast with highlights and more. If you are a fan this may be a good notice of interest. They interview players and coaches up there in NEWTON COUNTY.

I love seeing a community buying in puts a smile on my face.

If you know of anything else in surrounding areas that provide coverage week to week Post it please I want to hear them all.

Hopefully the Lancers can silence some critics and "upset" the Redskins this week!!!

I don't think anyone used the word "UPSET". A matter a fact picks are almost even in here this week for KNOX Vs. LAVILLE.

007 is just Stating the History on the topic.

I'd love to see a 2A match up between Laville & Rensselaer. Who would ya'll take and why???

    Bombers by 28

Reason: BOMBERS beat (4A) WESTERN. (4A) WESTERN also beat the defending state champs (2A) #2 WEBO. LAVILLE was handled by  (2A) #5 PIONEER

There isn't a top 10 team in (2A) LAVILLE would beat. I dont even believe they could beat ANDREAN or TIPTON.

No I don't hate Laville. They are a tough ball club and have much respect for them. All I am saying is BOMBERS Vs. PIONEER way better topic.

They will be tough in the years to come! Last week they finally found their Tailback. He is a freshmen and he is already a decent size kid. He had all of three of their TD"s against North Newton last week he will be an absolute stud.

Allen is his name and he is #40 6'1" probably 180. His name will be familiar in the future.

I applaud Coach Lambert getting the Kids and the community bought in. I foresee them being a 1A powerhouse within the next few years. They have so much young talent and everyone is behind them up in Starke County.

    SUCH A GREAT BALL CLUB!!

The talent level at North Judson in the 7th through 9th classes I hear are pretty good...conference winning good. Hell have two years or so so ball but when these sophomores are seniors theyll be tough.

I have yet to see Film on my ALMA MATER, but one thing I have seen is 11 on 11 This summer and I was very impressed!

They have so many threats! Don't Let the line fool you either those young men may not be biggest, but they all know where the weight room is  and it shows they are about as tough as they come.

I don't follow them as much as I like, but they are scary athletic.
