Well, if you're gonna talk the talk you better be able to walk the walk...and the Bulldogs did not.

All Grid humor aside, I knew it would be an uphill battle but I will never act like we don't have a chance. The Bulldogs didn't play a great game, and EC is really good. Kudos to them, and good luck on the rest of the season.

Now that the big river has been crossed, it's time to go make a statement in 3A!!! Wake up 🤡...we comin for ya!

K9, your dogs have all the tools to make coach k and the stc crew loose a few nights sleep this week. Gonna be a good one in the burg.

  2. Welp...

Kudos to Stewycats....looks like it was quite the spectacle with multiple un-sportsman likes, scuffles, and an ejection.

Stinkburg had a good ole chicken fry

Rats do what rats do....not cool

Troypups did their best, but just way too much BB to handle.

    W6 brings:

a big matchup for little EIAC title....troypups vs stink in the burg. should be a good one.

KFI will be humbled and pummeled.

blue dumpster fire vs roosterville......oh boy

    ND bolts vs Stewycats.....oh my

plugs vs spartucky (without #4)....oh who cares

    EC wins the Behlmer Bowl

The Tiggers over the Kittens in the Fight for the Litterbox

SD beats GB in the Battle of the Blues (Not necessarily talking about School Colors)

Ahh, so the Fan wants to stir the pot this week. Ok then, here ya go....

    Connertucky vs Rushtucky

What has historically been the Toilet Bowl will now determine who is the SECOND worse team in the EIAC. I snuck out of the yard last week and went to the game (though I had to sit outside of the fence for reasons I can't disclose) and Flatbill Timberlake may want to consider rejoining the band cuz they are "Bad, Bad, Bad". Although they were 28-18 with the Bulldogs at one point due to some penalties, bad play calls, and a couple of big plays. But I think that may have just been Homecoming hysteria for the Bulldogs. Connertucky wins this one and secures their spot at 3rd from the bottom.

Both coaches were done before I was born, so I don't know.

    EC vs Bulldogs

First of all, let me just say, the Bulldogs have more wins against East Central than any other team in the EIAC and those came long before we had any East Central transplants so I don't give a damn about any "Trojan ties". That is no disrespect to The Grey Wolfdog or Superphotobomb, just the cold hard facts!

I may be the only Dog on the Grid, unless Triple C gets out of jail (I guess he was found passed out naked on the number 4 fairway at Hillcrest a few days ago) who believes that the Bulldogs can not only compete with mighty EC, but they can beat them! The Bulldogs shock the world with a 38-35 victory over the Trojans and Triple C throws a Toga Kegger at the Country Club!!!

    Greatest Coaches...no brainer.

    FC vs Stinktown

Both teams seem to be injury ridden but fortunately for Stinktown, FC wasn't very good before some of their players went on the IL. The Tigers are riding high in the polls due to last year's success, but that will all change soon and even HondaTiger won't be able to save them. I think SEF's assessment is probably accurate though at 35-14 Tigers. (We'll see ya soon 😉)

    Greatest Coaches...I concur.

    SD vs Hondaturd

I LOVE seeing all this turmoil and drama in Honda Land, no one is more deserving. It is hysterical that they are chanting "We want...a guy who has a lifetime losing record". If Little Ralphie is smart he will jump on one of those trains full of Hondas and get the hell outta there as soon as possible! They have no tradition, no culture, no passion and there isn't a coach in the world who could change that...not even Big Ralphie! "Respectable"? I guess the Hondaturd fans prefer a HC who allows his players to skip practice, flip off fans, sling gates into opposing coaches, and yell profanity across the field? SD rolls Hondaturd in a big way this week, and the ship continues to sink!

    Greatest Coaches....Hahaha!!!! Hilarious!

i don't stir k9, it took an STC post to knoCk the dust off my kEyboard

    W5

Spartucky vs Stewy....who the ____ cares!  Ahhhh I'll go with Spartucky by 20

Roosterville vs Stinkburg.... FC still trying to figure out who "we are _ _" really means.  Tigers frying some chicken on Friday by 31

KFI vs Puff-Blue-Dragon-Pirates.... KFI gonna make themselves feel like they're the best team in the little EIAC by 48 ( 7-TDs, 3-2pt conv, don't they have a kicker?)

BAD BOYZ vs TROYPUPS.... Troypups are the team to beat in the little EIAC, yet the IHSAA class 3 polls withdrew the love, why? (with all seriousness) There's no doubt them Troypups will be the only EIAC team to give the BAD BOYZ a bit of a challenge, but by Q4 same story, 2nd/3rd string to finish the game clock. Sorry K9, I admire you standing behind your doggies, but not even the old EC playbook (ISO/BUCK/BELLY/POWER/PLUG/WAGGLE) gonna make a difference.

  4. wEll.....i-L-b,  I Can't bEliEive it's thE rEturn of STC!

Now I have no intEnt to poke or ChallEngE the lEgEndary rhyming Clown, but I will add this....

That Clown smack down nEEds to bE back on thE GID

    W_4

You can dress a concrete rooster up with new outfit but the BAD-BOYZ will have the student sect singing "start your tractors" by midway thru Q2.

Them trojan-DAWGS gonna drop a big one on those stewart-cats.   Finally those DAWGS seen a little love from IHSAA Class 3 polls.

KFI in the DEN drops spartytucky in a high scoring slugfest. There may be more points scored then tacos sold.

Stinktown tigers flip the script and plunder the blue puff-ball not-so-magic dragons. ARRRGH say ye "bone to the dome" fans.

Hoping to hEar from thE rEst of thE GID-EIAC'rs in this thrEad. Z, 8-ball, F Teller, K9, C2or3, Dawggy, Spoon, ManEiac, KFI, PhatRat, TL2, Tigre, Doc ??? hEllo?

  5. Week 7

Lions go down to the Burg and get the CAT kicked out of them! 56-12

Boom Boy and the Ratts go to Chicken JoJo's. Them JoJo's are off the Rona waitin list, while them Ratts are still feeling the beat down from last week. I believe them #15 JoJo's are gonna light it up. 49-20

Hook at the Steeple Chase Dog-Pound.  Hook likes the RPO, Dawgs like the spread....should be a TD-fest.  After playin two tough opponents them Dawgs should be up to speed and have the edge.  48-41

BaD BoYs at Sparty.  The new Sparty chief Dbl-J knows them BaD BoYs, prolly will have his old Jersey on underneath. Trojans offense needs to get well in this one.  49-7 or maybe 55-6

Out of curiosity how long can schools sustain limited capacity? Bottom line has to be suffering.

    Definitely.

You think the IHSAA has/will reduce their take this season?

Franklin County is open full go starting this week with no capacity restrictions but masks are still required.  Homecoming and senior night for our first home game of the year.  FC boys are all out of quarantine and ready to play.  Should be a fun one at the Ark!

    Indeed.

The Ark will be rockin!  And, JoJo and the Chickens should be primed to lay one on them Ratts. I assume the grass is plenty tall?

  7. Well STC....looks like the GID been Kung-Flu' d! No-one around to light up the EIAC thread?  Of course I'm as guilty as everyone else.....but hope now to be back.

Where is: Z, 8-ball, F Teller, AVD, K9, C2or3, Dawggy, Spoon, ManEiac, KFI, PhatRat, TL2, Tigre, Doc, and all the rest of the EIACs best?

Sure hope things get hoppin....plenty of season still to come. Surely no-one from the EIAC is too busy burning down cities or marchin with T-fa....Maybe a couple of well placed comments will wake everyone up?

Thinkin about startin a new organization...EIACM

All of my comments were between me and K9, you injected yourself and your comments into our discussion, and I'm sure K9 didn't need your help!  I was light-heartedly kidding about getting on my "bad side" learn how to take a joke!

You obviously don't know who Chris Morgan is....maybe you should look him up....and heed your own advice on taking a joke. 😅

Mooresville to Evansville Bosse Enlow Field is about 2 hrs 25 min. Which is a little shorter than Chatard traveling there (about 3 hrs) and much shorter than East Central almost 4 hrs.

Nov 11 2016 was a Friday and Monrovia traveled to the Reitz Bowl to play Mater Dei (a 2 hr 30 min drive) and beat Mater Dei 35-28. Game time is 7:30pm EST (6:30 pm CST). If the Pioneers leave at say Noon should be more than enough time to get there and do all your normal pre-game routine.

I agree, traveling by car is a straight through drive of about 2.5-hours.....but by Charter-Bus, add 15-min to drive time then 15-minutes sitting before departure....the players will be on that bus for more than 3-hours. If it's a couple school buses....then add more.

I also agree that leaving by noon should give them plenty of time get there and prepare.

Does anyone know if this game will be streaming live? If so, please inform.

I dont post much on here only been on here since August.  I have a kid that plays for Mooresville. I have never told him about this forum cause his job is to get ready to play and not read much into what is being said . Needless to say we were sitting at dinner lastnight and all of us were talking he looks at me and said dad have you ever heard of the football digest . Me yeah the indiana gridiron digest  why? He chuckles and said him and some teammates were reading some of the post and said by the looks of it we r down 7 when we get off the bus and nobody has won on a Friday night at  this Enlow stadium. All I said was be the first. Thought it was funny how even players get on here.

    Great advise M11..."be the first"

Hopefully your team will depart early in the day to have time to knock off the cob-webs before game prep.

The last 3 Regionals that I have watched the road team has won (EC over Reitz in 2016 and Central over EC in 2018).  Yes, long bus rides are bad and I think they are worth a TD for the home team but it does not mean certain defeat like you say!

Listen Stalker!  You're the weirdo that injected himself into mine and K9's back and forth so don't act like you're untouchable, if you want slam me for something you know nothing about then you're fair game, buttercup!  If you don't want me coming back at you then quit commenting on my posts!

Alright...so lets get this straight.   You injected yourself into an EIAC thread with ridiculous comments and post attacking another EIAC team....that makes you fair game!  Then you lay down some silly comical threat about getting on your bad side? So Chris Morgan...it is you who initiated the angry-man comments and it is you who continues this behavior. I'm happy to walk away....But, that's up to you!

Long bus rides clouds the mind, may be worth a TD...but "could be" the contributing factor of a loss.  When two teams are evenly matched...the "could be" can become "more likely". My earlier comment  in this thread was a joking analogy to someone else's post...."certain defeat" was never part of the discussion.  However, implying someone is ignorant when the facts clearly support the effects of the topic, was not warranted.

You know I’ve been reading a lot of these LB post (especially STC) questioning “who” we play and then kind of talking down about our schedule. HH is 12-0 and played two teams three teams this season with below .500 records. Conversely the twelve teams that the Tigers have played , maybe 4 teams were above .500.  So to put it politely I kind of sick already of reading things how LB plays such a tough schedule with a defense that stuffs good running teams and an offense that destroys good teams!!!

Maybe instead of referring to a very good Heritage Hills team as Patsys or whatever you call them............Refer to your weak a$$ schedule as Patsys!!!

Ding, Ding, Ding there’s the bell boys....fight is on I’m here all week!!!!!

P74, the EIAC fans give every team they face a nickname to kinda get under the skin....calm down.

The seasonal records mean nothing!  12-0 = 0-0 this week and the next....and the next!

Don't hang your hat on the last 12-weeks and don't let our style fry your shorts.

Hope you make the trip to Stinktown this weekend...I promise you'll enjoy the EIAC hospitality.

I’d be careful trying to compare a 12-0 Patriot squad to a South Dearborn team. Know nothing about SD, but I’d be willing to bet even if the schemes are similar, Lawrenceburg hasn’t seen anything remotely close to the Patriot ground game and just how they operate. Maybe EC would be more similar in terms of physicality of play??

As far as D...you best bet on throwing it around the lot, cause the Patriot run D is one of the best around. I guess since Lawrenceburg’s QB seems to be dynamic that might add another dimension...but if you think you’re just gonna line up and run it up and down the field😕- I’d be shocked if that was the case. A QB that can make plays with his legs might be the best bet to hurt the Patriot D as if they do have a weak spot on D- their pass rush isn’t what I’d call dynamite.

Should be interesting how this one plays out as the winner most likely will be playing Danville for a trip to LOS

No way I'd ever compare a team I've never seen to a team I have.  My take and point is only that LB faces great ground and pound teams all season long....some run a version of the Wing-Bone-T, some don't....The Stinktown Crew knows how to prepare for it...and plan to defend against it.  Whether or not that translates into stopping the mighty Pats Wing-Bone-T....we shall see. Athleticism and talent looks to be the main factor.

The Pats D is ranked #2 in State in points allowed.  No denying they are good.  LBs QB has a gun and fast wheels...once they ID a weakness they will exploit it....again and again.

BTW...my reference to the Wing-Bone-T is not meant as a knock...It's just easier to roll those mis-direction type offenses up into my "Wing-Bone-T" phrase . When executed properly they are a thing of beauty!

  14. 19 minutes ago, Art VanDelay said:

How ignorant to say their season is over because of traveling a couple hours and being the visitor.  I'd say give Memorial a TD for being the home team, but if Mooresville is hitting on all cylinders I don't see how they don't come away with the victory!  Mooresville - 28  Memorial - 17.  They are just too big and strong for Memorial to stop their run game.

AVD, just go away!  Quit following me around the GID and taking snip-its....then commenting a half-witted attempt at an insult.

BTW, Milan has played in 3-Regional's since 2000....2 were on the road for more than a 2-hour bus ride....both ended in lopsided losses.  Believe me the long bus ride, then right to game prep affects the  outcome.

I think you should look up the definition of ignorance before applying or implying someone else is.

I’d say only about 10% of HH’s offensive sets come out of the Bone. Most of the time- you’re gonna have a 2 Wing set...one in motion most every play. 90% run based offense...some big ol boys touting that rock, and one of the better athletes in Indiana running the controls at the QB position. (Reminds me so much of Winchell when he used to pull the ball out of the FB’s belly and take off)Although I’m not entirely certain if he is playing at 100%...but even still- his 80% is pretty damn good.

Dirtyburg is all about stopping that Wing-Bone Running attack!  Just ask KFI...

BTW, KFI...good to hear from you!  From the description above....sounds alot like your coveted DW!

If Patsy's strength is the Wing-Bone Running attack and the one of the Burg-Boyz strength is stopping it.....it's gonna be fun to watch.

I will say....Patsy best have a loaded D-2nd-ary else they'll find themselves a couple score down....and we all know the Wing-Bone Running attack isn't designed to play catch-up.

STC....I'll see you Saturday afternoon in the Jungle, shouldn't be hard to find you....just need to sniff once or twice for the scent of Connie's and follow the trail....I'll bring you some BLs....but you know I stick with the mash.

  16. For me...I enjoy watching several live streaming games at the same time with a slice of pizza and Woodford (or Eagle Rare) on the rocks. Not saying it's the same feel or excitement as being field-side but life's about trade-offs.  I still go to several games....but when I don't....I watch online and have Bourbon and Pizza!
