One of the best I have seen! Several weeks ago 8 Ball made the comment that one player doesn't change a game. I remember thinking to myself...you obviously have not seen this kid play! Number 5  for the Red and Black can absolutely change a game.

Silver Creek tried to double team him....didn't work out to well....just made his angry play, more angry!

Troyfan I wish that was the case, but I am just really down on my Knights right now. It has been a long 4 weeks, losing 3 of the 4 and I have a feeling the show may have its final curtain call tonight. Before moving on, I must ask what in the world happen last week? I was at the Lawrenceburg game and it just felt like they beat us in every phase. They beat us in phases I didn't know existed. Then all the drama on the sidelines, flags, you name it, we had it. Just a bad night for the Knights. One positive and I do not know who is calling the plays, but the Knights did put one in the endzone late. You guessed it. The Double Wing. That is what I don't understand. You got Coach Rand who could start calling the Double Wing and maybe sneak one out tonight. But if they try to be East Central and run ISO, play-action pass, Mooresville will have a happy ride home.  I still love my Knights, just hope they figure it out.

KFI...One thing I know is, Coach B knows what he is doing and knows how to prep a plan for a big game.  If the outcome isn't favorable...it won't be from not being prepared and definitely won't be a lack of effort by the players.  Maybe the 2 1/2 hour bus ride will take a little out of those Pioneers and your Knights come out and shock the world tonight.  I'm pulling for them and I'd say most of Trojan nation is as well...after-all, we want to play that sectional title game in Dearborn County.

Those Tigre-burgs are good bunch...look for them to advance deep in the tourney....so don't be down that they roughed up your Knights.  Coach B may have been keeping back what he's got planned for tonight.

I went through Stewey town yesterday and they were getting ready for the big game. It looked like they might have been missing a guy or two though?? Maybe their horse is lame?

CK9, I would have your AD contact an IHSAA official...it appears the player in the T-shirt running the crossing route is not from the same team...therefore his eligibility should be questioned .

Warriors vs TheBurg: Warriors wish they never came out to play! : Tigre 56, Warriors 10

Interesting information here. Dogs, Knights, Rats and whatever. KFI just wants to talk football. Drove by the pit yesterday and I was very excited. One might ask why? They had players in yellow vest and you know what they were running??? That's right, the Double Wing! Man I sure hope Coach Rand goes back to roots. There are very few who know the Double like Coach Rand. I know the Tigers have an old Knight coach on their staff, but he was only with the Knights one season, no way Coach Rand told him all his Double Wing info.

Ahhhhh....I heard this was left on a table at Connies, STC can you confirm?

I may of been fishing with the "inexcusable" part, but the other point is 100% right.

Both Diet Coke and Will Ferrell and then Diet Coke again,  had the same talent that "You Know Who" had and never made it past regional.

TL....Move on....or you will end up in one on one with "Z".

Would love to hear from the Casketville Crew about their battle with Foghorn this week. A win could send them confidently into the 2nd season.

KFI needs to get back to the Double Wing. When Coach Rand has that Wing clicking, those Knights are hard to stop.

I'm sure that's part of the plan this week....not so sure it would work out.  Stewy would love a ground and pound game...if they can stay close.....???

Harsh...and I haven’t seen KFI around since the smack down at EC so I don’t know if he’s even around these parts anymore.

It's one thing to get beat by a superior team...but what happened last Friday...at home...boy oh boy.  We may not here from KFI till next year!

    Week 7 presented a shocker

Stewart Town vs Boom Boyz / River Rats / KFI - STC thought KFI would recover after the beat down the Trojans put on the River Rats. However, STC did not take in account that it was "Fair" week. Most do not know the impact "Fair" week has on those kids. It is a week where most of the players families come back to town, so the kids are not with it. Stink thought Coach Boom would get them past that, but the Rats just didn't show up.

    Only M8B predicted this one!!!

For KFI....this has to be devastating. I know they had two on the bench in PF/Ejection Jail & the fair may have cast a distraction...but certainly for a team/program that is up and coming they should do better than that.  They couldn't even get a clean snap off in Q4....Hopefully their QB-1s knee is OK and he'll be ready by sectionals.

    C'mon KFI....pull it together!

Maybe I'll stop by Hondaburg and introduce myself tomorrow night? Where can I find you?

I shouldn't be too hard for an admin to find, but we both know that's not gonna happen Dawgie. Enjoy the Carmel game!

I read it in the article in The Journal Press on Tuesday.  Staff writer Marc Emrell interviewed coach after the game...

I do not know what happened.  Were there injuries?  Vacations?  Just want to be first in line for the Tilt-A-Whirl at the fair?

I did see a post in the week 6 EIAC thread asking about a number 2 that was injured but not the two named in the article.  Maybe someone who was at the game can shed some light.

    From the article...

Ballart knows it will not be an easy game against the Wildcats, who are 3-3 on the year, losing to Greensburg 29-22 Friday. The Knights will be playing without Guthrie and wide receiver Chance Sperringer.

“It doesn’t look real good,” said the SD coach. “I’ve got two starters out, two big-time offensive weapons we have. But we’ll see what happens. Franklin County will come into town and they will be ready to play. We’ve go to get back to work tomorrow morning.”

I believe there were two players ejected during the EC game Friday...not sure if they were the two.

    IHSAA By-Laws 2018-19

    8-4 Contest Ejection
