Never said they cared about that stuff. However,  as fans we're allowed to look at things like that.

Absolutely we are as fans can look and ask about those kind of things, my reply, point, and opinion was that the teams focus was/is on winning, not individual records or margin of victory.

That said, JR did brake the record last night and the Artesians did keep it close the first half.

  2. Congratulations to the Tigers on another good season.

Congratulations to the Bulldogs on a big win.

Now, I seen some crazy things and puzzling calls (or lack there of) happen in HS football. But this is not the NCAA or NFL with re-play, and the refs do the best possible job they can....so I'll just leave it right there.

  3. Well, here we go....

just under 4-hours till the big one in the south-east.

STC and the crew are trollin the mean streets of casketville.  The rivercats are feeling strong and talking smack...and they should cuz they are all in on the Gplan that K and the staff laid out.  Big-house will keep the dawggies runnin sideline to sideline to wear them down.  Will the K-plan put them in the championship game?

K9 & C3 have big tab open at Tubas with an open invite to the crew after the game.  Big U and the gray have TroyDawgz bursting with confidence after the W last month and a strong season to date, but they also have the Dawgz barkin mad about not getting the respect they deserve. Super J is an elite athlete, he'll look to make plays with his legs and his arm. Do the DawgZ maul the cats?

As of now the weather looks like a no-factor so both teams play-books are a full go.

I'ma headed out here shortly.... C3...I hope you saved me seat cuz i'm headed to Tubas. Tonights dinner....Tenderloin sammy, tots, a side of pepper cheese cubes, and several buffalo trace dbls served neat.

I'm going with the DawgZ by 12+

Good luck and good health to both teams.

Sagarin isn't giving The Dogs respect? That is absolute nonsense. 🤣 By what mechanism do you propose the Sagarin is shortchanging the Dogs from Casket Town?

If one of these teams isn't getting "credit" from the Sagarin it is the Tigers, because the Sagarin ignores out of state games and doesn't know about all the early season injuries to key personnel for the Tigers.

I think you answered your own question...Taylor (OH) vs Indian Creek....Sag only factors IC.

Though "respect" prolly isn't the best word to use when comparing the result of statistical calculations...it certainly is a good metaphor, in this case.

I have quite a few connections to Jennings County. Would’ve been nice to see Buening build something there but I don’t think he had the support needed to do so. Luckily, he was able to find some success at Southridge.

Yeah, Buening is a good coach and great person.  Glad he is having success at Southridge.  Hopefully they advance to regionals and he plays another EIAC team in our neck of the woods.

  7. C3, you keep ropin and ridin that smack...cuz I'm a leaning toward your TroydawgZ for now.

But I think the big U and the ole gray need to go back and knock off the dust to pull a play our two from the H playbook......you know....a spinner or two?  Maybe a JB turnaround dbl option pitch?  Just to make them river-cats think twice about those dbl A-gap blitz packages.

I'm sure what was working for big K last month will be in the plan on friday.....get the ball outside of the hash quickly to make them big-pups upfront chase and get worn out by q4.

So......I'll perk and perk and perk for now, but just in case...save me a seat on the end by the Tuba-Fridge...I got the first round if I fill it.

I doubt it happens but here’s to hoping Jennings County advances to play East Central for the sectional championship. The Panthers have only played for a sectional championship one time and it was the fourth and final time they played East Central, a 35-0 shutout loss in 2000. The Trojans are 4-0 against the Panthers.

Would like to see that as well....it's been a while since we've seen the Panthers.  I remember pre-season scrimmages back in 2010-2012 when S Beuning was JCs coach. He of course left EC to take the HC job at JC. I also remember the long bus ride to North Vernon.

  9. PS: W-2

    The Creek @ Roosterville:

The Braves paddle their canoes into JoJo-land on Friday, the Hilltop, Midtown, and Dairy Cottage will have hungry and thirsty Trafalgarites waiting inline for beverages and the best fried chicken north of Mound Haven.  Them Braves are putting up a lot of points this season, but so was KFI.  I think JoJo found a little something to work with and the new turf see's its first sectional win.  Gillman over Gillin by 6.

    Stinkcats @ Dawzzzzz:

Super excited about this one.  Stink, K, Mnfrd, and the crew with bighouse are a different team from a month ago. But so are the Dawgz. The Grays plays don't seem to be the lead, but his influence definitely brings the bite to the dogs bark.  I'm gonna let this one perk for a while. man this one will be fun to watch.

Give Martinsville credit, they played the right game against the right team in Plainfield on a rainy night. Plainfield likes to throw vertical and could not in that weather. Another head scratcher year for Artesians with getting shellacked on their own field by Greenwood, then edging DC at home. Martinsville likes to run with Shrake, a less vertical team than in the past. Lost many multi-year starters from last season.

Just at a glance and by the numbers....they look to have been a better team last season.

Good luck to the Pioneers tonight against IGW.

  11. BTW...

Stinkburg vs C-Dogs: STC and the crew invade 5-Arch brewing and bust up the place with a road win by 20

Dawgz vs FBTLs: Running clock by Q3....DAWGZ by +40

Roosterville vs KFI: Them roosters will pull out all the stops, but Boom and the MG invaders weather the feathers for a round 1 win, KFI by +25

Hondaburg vs T-Braves: Man o Man, Ralphie and the gang got deal with three hours on a bus to end this nightmare, Trafalgar Braves by +40

I'll have you know I graduated top of my class in playing school, and I've been involved in numerous home and home series on Pac 12 Schools, and I have over 300 confirmed pass deflections. I am trained in gorilla 3-4 defenses and I was the top Safety in the entire FBS. You are nothing to me but just another Little Sisters of the Poor. I will wipe you out with precision the likes of which has never been seen before on this field, mark my words. You think you can get away with saying that to me over the Internet? No Chance. As we speak I am contacting my secret network of alumni across the USA and your IP is being traced right now so you better prepare for a sectional loss. I can be anywhere, anytime, and I can pass-rush you in over seven hundred ways, and that's just at strong safety. Not only am I extensively trained in Ubran Meyer's playbook. If only you could have known what unholy retribution your little "clever" triple option opinion was about to bring down upon you, maybe you would have held your own.

But you couldn't, you didn't, and now you're paying the price. Tigers by 90.

K9....I think you just released the kraken!
